I haven't squatted in six months, but that was my workout when I wasn't "burning out" (squatting 225 till I fall over.

Thanks for the advice on the pull ups. :D
Don't be discouraged by your inability to do pull ups. Some peoples legs are just heavier then others and that makes a difference.

So I had to do some barefoot training because it would make my feet and lower legs stronger and help me with some knee issues. And the good news is: it did work. It seems to be the next big thing. Now that I think about it, it makes sense. You're supposed to use your feet. The VERY annoying thing however is that as your feet get more muscular, they get bigger.

You see where I'm going with this, Boz? It made them wider to the extent that I can't wear any of my football shoes anymore. Barefoot training has been a godsent for my knee issues (which are quite simply gone), but turns out to be more expensive than I thought.

There are light running shoes out there that emulate barefoot training, but are more comfortable.
Barefoot training is a logical method for people with pains, especially in their knees and I'm against the bulky highly cushioned runners that try and force your feet into unnatural positions.
I'm surprised muscles in your feet are growing. I don't see how not wearing shoes would change the work rate of the muscles in your feet. If anything, I'd expect your calves to feel the real change because you're inclined to bounce off your toes more.

I'm thinking about buying some gym equipment. My membership fee would be about 300 euros per year and I think that's just too much, when I can get a power rack with weights included for 400.

Awesome investment, Jack. Ergo's are the toughest exercise machines you can buy. As a rower I've had some of my most intense and painful experiences on one of those things.
But if you can, you should really should buy a 'concept 2' (http://www.concept2.co.uk/) ergo even though they're much more expensive, the one you are looking at is a complete waste of time and money. My sister bought one and it limits your motions completely and the resistance is pretty minimal.

You know, gym is healthy if you can keep it under control. If you start taking shit like proteins, tribestans and god knows what else, then you are really screwed. Almost all my friends go to the gym and since they started going they have changed completely.....in their characters i mean. They act like mobsters, they dont smile so much as they did before, they are just not happy. Cause they started getting muscles and they feel "manly" and they think that by being serious you seem scarier and they think they frighten people that way. Not just my friends, but everyone who goes to the gym. I cant fucking stand their attitudes.

Well your friends bad attitudes are no more then a product of their egos. Protein supplements, creatine etc. have nil effects on behavior. In fact, since I've been hitting the gym I've found I have a better temper because after being so tired from the gym I'm sleeping better. Being well rested results in better concentration at work or in your studies as well.
Different people have different reasons for body building and exercising regularly. Some people enjoy the feeling they get while working out, others take a genuine interest in body building. Either way, building your body gives you confidence and a feeling of self empowerment. Its how you handle that confidence which will either improve or diminish your quality of life.

I have to agree with this. I sleep way better after I've been training. I'm not a bodybuilder though and my goal isn't getting as much muscle mass as possible. I need a lean and quick body.

But the protein supplements and creatine and stuff are a no no for me. I doubt that they influence your behaviour, but I do not find it very healthy to be this obsessed. There are also possible physical downsides to creatine use.

Well exercise in general should have the same effect on sleeping patterns. I wouldn't even recommend protein supplements to people not taking part in weight training to be honest, its pretty pointless unless you need a meal replacement. Creatine is harmless in small doses. If overused though it can be quite harmful to the kidneys; it will literally drown them. And the jury is still out on whether it only has a placebo effect or not but I think its just an inconsistent supplement (your body may only react 1/3 of the time).
All in all, its just a matter of balance. No obsession is a good one but juve_fanatics friends just sound immature and egotistical.

I need an advice from you guys. Since holidays are over and now I will have more intense training I've been thinking what supplemets to take. I've been thinking about combination from BSN N.O. Xplode, CellMass and Nitrix that look like good combination but I fear it's short term solution. I fear I might loose all the mass I gained.

If someone doesn't know about what products I talk here they are:

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/nitrix.html
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/cell.html
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/xplode.html

P.S. Sorry I couldn't find better page.

Well if you're trying to avoid short term solutions then avoid those supplements altogether.
But they are all quite good supplements to take. You just have to keep working hard for a long long time. People get real big in say a years time and then when they stop they wonder why it all went in the space of a month.
