Ran a 10k two week ago, been back to MMA sparring hard and have played the full 90mins 3 games in a row. Not doing too bad for someone who near died in May. Will hopefully hsve a fight lined up for May 2019 (Me on the right)

I always try to avoid playing footie with guys who are serious about fighting sports, this morning during a relaxed game between friends there was this guy who was a serious kick-boxer in previous life and is now a pastor. I received the ball with my back against goal, attempted a Bergkamp and dude instinctively knee-striked me in the stomach while I was rotating around him, almost knocked me out :D

Are there any real benefit to box squats over conventional back squats? I can't imagine the compression force from having 2 or 3 plates on a bar resting on your back as you sit down to be very good long-term.
I’m not sure if there are any benefits. Just squat low and you get even more benefits than box squats.
