I keep seeing people who claim Chiellini will be more legendary than Grosso, but it's going to be pretty hard to be more legendary than a player who worked his way up, ended up in the national team, scored the winner in a WC semi-final and scored the decisive spotkick in the final. That's about as legendary as it gets.

So shut up.
and how fitting it is to have topped it off with a move to binter and winning a fake scudetto

maldini is much better than grosso, its quite silly to compare them, maldini is a legend, grosso had a very good world cup, but its not as if maldini was rubbish in the world cups he played in, i think 3rd place in 90, finalist in 94, finalist in euro 2000, he's a had a very good international career but just got unlucky (i also think he's the most capped italy player with over 100 caps), the guy has also won a lot of serie A titles and 4 champions league's ........no comparison

Indeed. Grosso has 29, and he had his best part of his carrer at that age. Before the WC he just was an avarage player.
And Maldini has 126 caps with the azzurri.
