Except he also provides more than Martial at the moment as well
I meant winger btw not winner, and that's a matter of opinion imo martial would do good here and got better than current dybala

only if Chelsea are after him imo. City (Pep) dont need him, United have Lukaku, Arsenal has Aubameyang and Lacazette. Liverpool? no idea
It's his last big paycheck he'd go to China imo before settling for lower wages, and I'd love to have cavani here

I agree that having a winger based formation could be a good thing for us. I also think that Dybala's too valuable to be discarded and I know some might disagree about that, that's just how I see it.

We could get the best of both worlds and have a 4-2-3-1 formation with actual good midfielders that can sustain that many forwards

could also be. there is not a CF i wanted more than Cavani all these years, so its a bit of wishful thinking from my side.

agree about Martial, would do well here. still want to keep Dybala tho

In the current setup , you can already say Dybala's been replaced. Bernardeschi is more of a TQ/midfielder than Dybala will ever be and is good at creating chances/playing through passes that Higuain can latch onto. Basically he is a much better fit than Dybala in the current formation.
What would change ? Maybe the onus will be on Higuain to score a lot more goals than he has this season. Maybe he'll have a lot more chances to score with two creative players by his side who assist more than they score more.

What we would miss ? Dybala's individual brilliance. His ability to create something out of nothing. His finishing. Like I said, in his absence , Higuain would have take the burden of scoring a large majority of the goals especially since a major chunk of that money will be spent on sorting out the midfield as well. (Martial as first change sub)

There are ideal conditions to make the team perform better without Dybala and compensate for his individual brilliance. But we said the same about Pogba who's in pretty much the same boat as him and now we all wish we could have Pogba back.

We wouldn't be in this mess in the first place if we didn't have this "revolving doors policy" regarding selling players which resulted in our midfield becoming a shadow of its former self, and an unwise 90 million investment on the part of our board.

I blame Allegri for pragmatic/conservative tactics in certain games, but I blame the board for buying the wrong players.

So we sold Pogba for Pipa and people sre suggesting to sell Paulo too to built an even better team around Pipa... so at the end, we would sacrifice paulo and paul for gonzalo... brillian, just brilliant

Who is easier to replace in the market in your opinion? I'm not faulting any individual player for tonight, the whole team stank it up
definitely Higuain, it's our last chance to sell him for good money. if we stick with Gonzalo and sell Dybala, we're gonna end up replacing Higuain in 1-2 years anyways.

Because we created so much tonight :howler:
How often have we used this excuse?

As if it's ok that Higuain isn't capable of doing anything but wait until the ball arrives exactly at his feet.

Allegri said Dybala cant play CF, but what exactly is it that Higuain is doing this season that Dybala couldnt? hold up play? off ball movement? aerial presence? Higgy is a great finisher, when you get him the ball in the box, and he just needs to make one touch before shooting. we obviously dont have the midfield for him to wait till someone else creates a chance for him, which is why Dybala as a false 9 would be more useful for us since he can do more with the ball

The missed long pass he did in the second half and Max clapping and cheering was just like too much... Allegri used to yell for everything but Gonzalo could score three owngoals and Max would keep shouting like a teenager

Both Higuain and Dybala are feeding off of scraps at this club, Unless they miss easy chances I just can't blame either of them for our lacklustre attacks. If Allegri is going to stay I think it's better to sell Dybala as it's easier to get more out of Higuain as he's a traditional number 9

Dybala to me requires constant movement around him and fast transitions from defence to attack, he needs to find space in between the lines like Isco does but our whole setup is too pragmatic and static to accommodate such a player like Dybala in attack
