Mandzukic wouldn't have even positioned himself or even anticipated it like Higuain did let alone scoring that goal. He'd be wandering somewhere at RWB trying to prevent a counter attacking move and he'd get praised by Tuz for showing such 'amazing work rate' for a CF.
So true :lol2:

 Bolded part.

Nothing against workrate for ther team...but we NEEDED a fox in the box ala Trez, and this mans howed today that he can really score from tight angtles like a true poacher...and we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg most likely.

Very excited to have a real bomber upfront.

Pipa= "Belly" like a beer belly. Pipita = "Little belly". I think his big brother or his dad was nicknamed "El pipa"... so he inherited "El Pipita".
That's not true at all :D

Yeah, about that goal. Not only do you need to be a natural born poacher to finish that, but here we also see the benefit of having a bomber who is equally good with both feet. Had it been on the other side of the goal, he could've done the very same thing with his right foot. Him being able to bang them in from any angle makes him super lethal compared to many other strikers who would've had to stop and set up the ball for the other foot before taking the shot.

Higuain is just a very good striker. I don't think anyone will try to deny that. Also, I think we'll see him banging in goals for at least another four years as he is much more reliant on strength than speed and strength usually fades slower.

Besides the goal (which was pure quality) he must take the credit for his positioning and also his move to the left which gave Khedira plenty of space in the box.

You noticed that too? If you look at the replay, as Khedira was turning in position to shoot, a defender to his left started going towards Sami, and then at the very last second went towards Higuain, but it was too late at that point. His momentum wouldn't have allowed him to get into position to cover Gonzalo
