The season would have ended by early June, and no one would have been able to get a handle on how he would have recovered. It's always gonna be a valid concern when a tackle could bring him back to the operating table. Especially at that age. I'd stay away.

But I agree he is the better player just not a risk i'd be willing to take given how this club and injuries seem to go hand in hand.
