What's an important game? There would be no important games if we couldn't win "less important" games. If it's so easy to score against "less important" rivals why dafuq Dybala and Mandzukic combined didn't have as many goals as Higuain?
who said anything about less important games? and who said anything about scoring goals? you can play a 10/10 game without scoring, and you can score but we invisible otherwise. my point was, Higuain is going missing when we need him more often than not, while Mandzukic puts in his A game

but does he win games in solo effort?

Because Higuain is a good goal scorer. Nobody's denying this fact or if they are they're being fools. But another fact is that shining on the big stage is what separates the good from the best. He will score 10 goals past Sassuolo and vanish when we're up against the best in the world. Argentina could have had 3 more titles if it wasn't for his incompetence to do his job when a victory is crucial.

Same could be said of messi with Argentina, but one would be a fool to dismiss messi and his skillset because he couldn't 'shine' in a final, a lot if this game is luck or many things coming together and for some sometimes it doesn't happen.

My point was jokingly to point out that Higuain has scored a winner
he scored a lot of winners, doesent mean he often disappears in big games

Did he miss a sitter in the final? We played like total shit as a team. Silly to single out one player.
did he do anything notewrothy in the entire knock out stage, other than the one Monaco game?

Pretty much the same as Mandzukic but with less running :D

Oh I dunno why I'm even here. I couldn't give a fuck as long as we win.

With Argentina yes, not with Barcelona. He's actually the reason they won those CL titles. Same COULDN'T be said of Higuain. Let's just accept the fact he isn't a player for crucial moments, the ones that add to a club's trophy room. One could argue to get to those crucial moments you have to get past other moments and it's true, but in the end Football is about winning, and you win by being the best at those crucial moments.

I'd agree with you if this wasn't such a recurring thing with Higuain and the big stage.

Having said all that I'd still play Higuain, I said many times I don't think he'll suddenly stop scoring. He will score again soon.
