Let's agree to disagree my friend. If you think that Gonzalo sucks at finsihing, then I can't see a way I can change the way you think. Benzema all around game is much better than Hig's, but when it comes to finishing, Gonzalo is the man, when it comes to scoring (As proven by his records for the NT and RM) Gonzalo is the man, and someone who scored that much, can't be a bad finisher.

49% of people here support Real, 49% support Barcelona here. And I swear no one of them know anything about football. I have loads of Real Madrid friends, and I swear most of them wanted Iker out, and think that Carvalho is a shit defender.
saying that Gonzalo's finishing sucks, is just super stupid my friend (no offense) he is a brilliant finisher.

I watch real week in and week out, and i didn't his finishing sucks i think his finishing isn't great and i'm not the only one who thinks so if you look at this thread, plus he adds nothing if he's not scoring unlike Benz who can create for himself and for others, this is why i don't consider Higuain a great striker like some do, i see him as a good striker but not a superstar.

What would you class him as? Falcao is a goalscoring machine, someone who's deadly in the box, and with an immense heading ability, can lead the line, and doesn't need a partner to excel.
goal machine or not goal machine dudes a forward, likes to dwell on ball and drops back often to get involved. nothing like trez or a higuain

I remember it too. It was Ronnie's first season at Real, and as a United fan I took interest in how well he will do in Spain. And most, well you can say all United forums had a 'Ronaldo watch' thread. And on the forum I'm on, Ronaldo used to get a lot of coverage, and we also had two Real madrid fans, who regularly post about Ronnie and Spanish football. 100% he played as a striker.
Yup, i'm positive too.

Anyone else who watches Real and has a good memory here? Osman maybe?

Dude, check the number of assists Gonzalo made every season. He offers a whole lot more than scoring. He used to play out of position in his early days at Madrid, and he used to cope well.

Lass/Granero/Xabi Alonso/Marcelo/Guti/Diarra
Kaká
Higuaín-Ronaldo

Ronaldo and El Pipita were primarily forwards. Put down all their midfielders as I don't think there was a whole lot of consistency between them.

Let's agree to disagree as you said. Benzema would be the one i'll take if i had the choice, you'll take Higuain. Both are good ;)

Even looking at those midfielders, there isn't anyone of them who could have played as a right winger, because if Ronaldo played on the left, who played on the right?

They used attacking midfielders mostly. Marcelo was so attacking that he often found himself bombing forward anyway and playing a Brazilian style left fullback. On the right you had Ramos/Ronaldo/Kaká/vdV/Guti/Granero/any attacking mid providing support.

They used attacking midfielders mostly, not wingers so much. Marcelo was so attacking that he often found himself bombing forward anyway and playing a Brazilian style left fullback. On the right you had Ramos/Ronaldo/Kaká/vdV/Guti/Granero/any attacking mid providing support.

Ronaldo missed the next game against Valencia and then played against real zaragoza with this team

I. Casillas
S. Ramos
R. Albiol
E. Garay
Á. Arbeloa
L. Diarra
M. Diarra
Marcelo
R. v. d. Vaart
G. Higuaín
C. Ronaldo

I could post the formation for the whole year and sometimes you would find Raul playing along side one of the strikers and Ronaldo and Kaka playing behind them, i don't deny his was in more advanced role than his Man U days but now he's playing as true striker (SS) and if you watched some of his gols when he first came to RM you could see that he would catch the ball on the left side then cut sprint and take one two defenders and score not the case anymore.

If Higuain had decided to play for the french NT he would've been the starting forward
With half the players choking like Ribéry, Nasri, Malouda and others, no. Benzema is a boss for France, he most of the time wins them matches on his own. Higuain wouldn't have that much service in that team.
