Zach is full of shit 80% of the stuff he says (or initially right, but takes shit too far), but in this case he is right about Higauin. The part he takes too far is how he seems to think he is the most clinical striker in the game, or better then Falcao and Cavani. He be schooling Crimson in this thread though :p

That depends. let me give you a retardedly extreme example.

Imagine beeing in a league where the top 10 all have excellent and amazing defenders, fast and agile, very hard to get past, defending like gods, but poor in the air.
Imagine a team in that league that has the best crossers in the world, but sucks at passign and trough balls

put messi in that team, he wont do well. crossing is useless, and the defenders will stop his dribbeling, and his team cannot send him trough.

However, if you have Toni in his prime, or Klose, they'd rip these teams a new asshole, because of air domminance.

In this extreme case, Toni is a better player for that team then Messi.

Now, looking at the player, Falcao and Cavani are more complete players then Higuain. So technically better in most situations. they dont need much of a team, they make much on their own and have a good finishing skill.

Higuain, only has his superb movement and acceleration, and superior finishing.

But if you look at a team, like ours, that is usually so freaking domminating the game, yet lacking movement from the attackers. We would obviously gain alot of quality by signing falcao or cavani, but we allready create so much, that we dont finish.

However, Higuain does just that. finishing off chances. Yeah, not this season, its beeing a bad season, but the past 4/5.

Considering his young age and potential allready shown, i say he's the most perfect purchase for juventus. Pure scoring ability. and we'll feed him enough chances anyway.

With conte's guidance, i can see him become that player that gets us very far in europe cause finishing off the few chances we create.

Agree on your points about Higuain.
We need to make the most of this chance.
RIGHT NOW we don't have better options on the market for the price of 20-25mil.
Great player, with great talent, age, expirience, and the most important scoring ability.

Forza Gonzalo,i hope we''ll get him.

Possible, but you and I have diffrent opinions on what this juve really needs.

i doubt many people will agree with me that Higuain-Llorente, or Higuain-zlatan are fantastic partnerships in the making

Zach bro, you only know how to go to the extremes, He is a very good player, but if he was so perfect, our competition wouldnt be Gala and Spurs. Falcao and Cavani are considerably better, and pretty much shown they are deadly as fuck in European stage (Falcao pissed on Chelsea in super coppa, besides owning EL, Cavani in his first and only CL campaign was a big clutch player who played like he had been dominating for ages), while Higuain, despite being a consistent scorer in league, never, and I mean never, done fuck all in CL. How is he the most perfect choice for just that stage then? Fine sign him, good opportunity, but dont over sell it dood.

Higuain-Llorente arent dood, different players, but primarly two goal scorers looking to finish off attacks, neither are versatile or creative enough to play off another CF. Either of them with Zlatan is another matter, since he has more to his game, though he would be the main focus of the attack and take away some of the needed space for a box striker.

IF and a big one,but IF we sign both Jojo and Higuain.

Can Jojo play as an AM behind Higuain-Llorente?

Or Better rotate Higuain/Llorente to play alongside Jojo...?

Better to rotate between them to play with Jovetic, yeah. can play 3 attackers when we are desperate.

But I know you said big if, but we aint signing 2 "star" attackers, ppl need to stop playing with the idea of it, even for a sec. It will be hard enough getting 1, IMO I wouldnt be the least suprised if Llorente is the only one we are getting for the attack.

Llorente isnt a goalscorer, he's a supportive targetman that plays with back to goal first, has technical ability, and is a good finisher. Higuain is more of a player that combines quickly and moves into channels.

Llorente links the attack the the midfielders, allowing marauding runs from vidal, marchisio, pogba, whilst Higuain is around for the quick flick on, or emminent danger.

Riiiiight, second time he can't counter-argument me and says nothing instead. Same with Zidane's thread. But hey, if you want to be so easily amused, be my guest.

Anyone with a little common sense knows Higuain is NOT the best we can get. An upgrade from what we have, yes, for the right price would be a no-brainer, but only for the right price. If we're to spend big we're looking at the wrong place. And all the people who are licking his and Zach's balls now will regret it once he goes into Matri mode. But hey, let's buy him!

I knew we had too many Americans on this forum who actually know their football, the stereotype had to appear.

Matri mode ? the guy scored more goals in two seasons then matri in most of his career, fighting for a single place with benzema, the lovechild of the coach.

Just wondering, are you from alabama and did you vote republican ?
