I don't rate Higuain as a finisher, however good stats may claim he is.

I only tend to see him in big games and he consistently missed too many presentable chances in those games for me to think he's a top CF.

That said, I do like an awful lot about the way he plays.

His movement and link up play ticks a lot of boxes of what I look for a No. 9 to do in general play.
So a very rich man's Matri?

Salvatore watches Real Madrid. Anyone who doesn't rate Higuain is not following him closely.

Higuain + Conte's game style = lots of goals and assists

We missed on Diego Milito in the past... If we have the chance to sign Higuain (who's a better version of Milito), we should not miss out.

cronios watches juve games. that dosnt mean he knows anything of value.

not saying salvatore is as "wise" as cronios, but you get the idea

I just don't know how Higuain and Llorente would play together. Major rotation?

I'd honestly just start both of them.

TMW reported that Ibra has lowered his wage demand to 9M :)lol:) Juventus want him for lower than that, and Higuain is an alternative to Ibra.

Does Conte and Marotta think Higgy can play with Llorente? Maybe. :)
Wouldn't major rotation be exactly the same that's hapenning to him at Real Madrid and the reason why some say that he's hasn't exploded?

So, you'd say that Llorente-Higuaín would work?

hugian llorente =vucinic giovinco all over again.

2 strikers trying to do the same thing. the quality is better but the idea is still the same.

doubt we will go for higuain anyway even if he is for sale. more pressing issues

I like Higuain, but I much prefer Benz. Benzema can actually create as well as score (although Higgy is the superior finisher).

However, my concern with Higuain is his uncanny ability to disappear in big games, miss a lot of chances, and his far from impressive goal scoring record in the CL.

Had we not acquired Llorente, I'd be super excited about signing someone like him. However, we need a Benz/Suarez/Ibra/Sanchez/JoJo/Isco/Draxler type player more than another CF/Finisher.

Fine reasoning.

It was difficult to take you seriously after reading the "Higuain has never been that good" post, you're clearly bullshitting about watching Madrid if you can type that with a straight face.
You really expect me to believe in whatever is in that rent-a-blog without questioning? Yeah, right.

Think what you want, really. It won't change the fact that Santillana, Juanito, Raul, Suker, Ronaldo, Morientes, Sanchez, Zamorano and at least another 10 more would put Benzema and Higuain to shame! Worse strikers i've seen in RM history, period.
