I think the Llorente and Higuain partnership will be fine. Llorente is a big target who can hold the ball or head it through for guys like Higuain, Marchisio, Vidal and Licht to make their runs. Also we got Vucinic and Giovinco off the bench if a SS is really needed. We'll have a strong presence in the penalty box with those two guys and I'm really excited about Llorente using his almost 2 meter frame to head in some easy goals.

I love how everything escalates so quickly on this forum. 5 posts ago - a guy expresses his opinion about football players. 5 post further - a picture of a bar of chocolate in spermatozoids shape. :disagree:

Transfer fees is not a problem here.Madrid are willing to accept 25m.Installments is and which is what i've been basically saying all along.I think they will oblige if we are willing to pay the sum in 2-3 installments but we want to do a 'Milan' on them(Like how they're paying Balo's transfer fee in several installments) by paying that in 4-5 installments especially since this is a relatively small transfer fee we're talking about which Madrid are basically not willing to do a deal on those terms.

True.

Llorente is a deeplying-forward/targetman. He can definitely play that role.

I can never stay mad at you for too long, Cam :D
Likewise

Thing is, you get frisky sometimes but rather for a post or so, which is fine and dandy...what irks me about Tuz these days (and don't say its the "Tuz way" cuz its changed a bit) is that some members make a point to hound your every post anymore to be a dick.

But you're cool. :D

It's illegal to talk with agents about contracts without permision of the club.
They don't talk about contracts. They inquire as to availability.

An example. Juve wants Higuain. So they contact Higuain's agent to see if the would be down to move. No money is mentioned. If the player is keen, then Juve contact Madrid as to availability. If the club says, sure we might sell him. Then Juve can go back to the agent with a contract idea. The two clubs negotiate a fee, the fee is accepted and the player looks over the contract. If it's good. Bloom a transfer is born.

Now the issue comes if Real Madrid say no, we do not wish to sell our player, we do not allow you to speak to the player. If Juventus then offer a contract to the agent and continue to press the player, then that is illegal. But it's hard to prove and most of the big teams do it. Chelsea got busted for it a while back with Kalkuta or whatever his name is and they lost a transfer window.

But yeah, most of the "player and club have come to an agreement" and there hasn't been an accepted offer is mostly paper bullshit.
