You make me sick to my stomach.
Do you really believe that Dzeko and likely soon Aguero chose City over Juventus, because of Marotta's ineptitude??? If so...you have little idea of the financial elements involved, the strength of each of those squads and the lure of the champions league. its matters not...continue to suffer, and i will continue to be encouraged by Beppe's moves this summer thus far. each to their own eh.

Most top players want to play at the highest level. Juventus havent been at the highest level for 2 years at least now. no matter how much spin Marotta can put our on Project and hopes for the future, the facts speak louder, as do the $$$$$, as does the participation and chance of future participation in the champions league.

A child looks at the mercato, and says 'sanchez for 20 something million!!!. beppe marotta is a fucking idiot, for not signing him!!!!!'...or 'aguero for 39m??? beppe marotta is a fgool for not signing him'....whereas anyone with a fair idea of the allure of man city, the allure of barcelona, the allaure of the champions league...results in us having zerro chance of competing with those clubs, unless that is, the player himself has some fetish for juve.

Look at his entire record with us. His motto was young talent for bargain prices with low wages. I'm not overly keen on the idea of buying Aguero for 38M + 7.5M wages either but there is a lot more to Beppe's story besides the few examples you mention. He has over paid clubs and players and has been stitched trying to move players out. Moreover, those players he failed most at selling for a reasonable price should never have been sold in the first place - Melo and Giovinco. Out goes our talent, in comes mediocrity (with high wages!). Worst of all he has failed to keep his promise and follow his initial business model. How wasteful does he have to get until you're prepared to criticise him for his obvious mistakes?
