That's something Rossi has not and cannot do, which is something most teams and fans across europe or the world would expect off a player costing 30m euros.

Yeah but for Quag, that's half a season, so we don't get to see the consistency that you need over a whole season. I'm not saying he's inconsistent, but his career stats are very up and down.

I think a striker's job is actually harder in the lower leagues, because the Italian mentality has always been defense. The standard of defense, statistically may not be as impressive as A, but as an attacker you've still got to beat your man, create opportunities etc.

Stick to the A and B. There's a lot of players and teams that can make the cut if their basics are right. Being a good d or attacker doesn't apply to every lower league per se. I was talking purely comparing the a and b league.

In my opinion that if Quag stays healthy for the whole season (god bless him) he will outshine Rossi.
