Which can work either way right? It also means his teams may not have had the quality to provide him the necessary service. But more importantly, and I think this is something that perhaps should not be overlooked, is that Quag has better off the ball movement than Rossi. Bottom-line, the difference between them is certainly not 15m! And Qusg will be a very different player with the right team behind him, it might just be his breakthrough season to propel him into the big league, given how he carried a shit ass team for the entire first part of the season. That's something Rossi has not and cannot do, which is something most teams and fans across europe or the world would expect off a player costing 30m euros.
Not really, because just as his team's standard of service will be lower, so will be the opposition's defending.

Not that I support signing Rossi for more than around 22m, or even at all.

I think a striker's job is actually harder in the lower leagues, because the Italian mentality has always been defense. The standard of defense, statistically may not be as impressive as A, but as an attacker you've still got to beat your man, create opportunities etc.

Quag deciding games, is rolling a dice, and yes he does assist much more, quag rarely assists really.

also, quag is 4 years older, and rossi just had his big breaktrough season with 18 goals.
Number of league assists per season since 2006/07

2006-07: Quag=1 Rossi=4
2007-08: Quag=4 Rossi=3
2008-09: Quag=4 Rossi=7
2009-10: Quag=5 Rossi=3
2010-11:Quag=2 Rossi=5
Total: Quag=16 Rossi=22

He assists a lot more?

6 assists more in the last 5 seasons is marginal.

Dude, I don't think the strikers from T&T Pro League who score 33 goals a season will have an easier time playing in Serie A. It just doesn't work like that/

Yeah but for Quag, that's half a season, so we don't get to see the consistency that you need over a whole season. I'm not saying he's inconsistent, but his career stats are very up and down.
Give him one season at a team like Juve and then let's decide that. I think all things staying the same, Rossi will not prove to be 15m better than Quag. On and off the pitch. In all honesty, I rather have a Quag Jersey #18 than Rossi #22 on my back :)

Quag played with Di Natale for a couple of seasons and with Hamsik/Lavezzi, of course he is not the one who's going to take pk's.

Quag's stats of last season are as good as Rossi's.
Rossi is 24 and played in a team that is constandly going to europe.

taking pk's there means something. they got other players better suited then lavezzi and hamsick

Stick to the A and B. There's a lot of players and teams that can make the cut if their basics are right. Being a good d or attacker doesn't apply to every lower league per se. I was talking purely comparing the a and b league.
