The guy who's career Aguero should aspire for so far, performance wise. Actually Torres and Aguero's atletico careers are similar, bit underwhelming, obvious talents who are almost there to showing their true potential, but fail at delivering it, eternal talents without any real breakthroughs (though Torres scored higher numbers then Aguero in Atletico).

Then Torres when to Liverpool and ABSOLUTELY OWNED EPL, despite being injured alot, he scored alot. Aguero has yet to have anything remotely close to those performances. If you are fickle enough to judge Torres on his few months with Chelsea, it says alot about you. If you are shortsighted enoughto already forgotten what a true world class striker Torres is, here:

I feel a change of scenery would allow Aguero to explode, just like Torres did when he first joined the EPL. I am not doubting Torres! He is a world class player on form, but he has been rather disappointing for almost two seasons now, and had a horrific World Cup! I realize a lot of it has had to do with his injuries and that has perhaps dented his confidence somewhat.

I'd rather have Torres here than having Rossi. The guy has had an off year but he's still an incredible talent. Rossi is meh, he's fast, nice long shot but his dribbles are nothing special and I don't think he's the right player for what we need as a second striker, he is not a "game changer".
Torres is more of a target man, while Rossi plays as an SS. We already have Matri as our main target man, and Quag can potentially fill that role as well.

Nasri not world class?! That's just absurd. He's been way better than Fabregas this year and will continue to be. He's also more flexible than Iniesta, meaning he would succeed in every team he'd play. Iniesta needs the passing game to shine.

Nasri is much easier to mark than Iniesta, much easier to get the ball off and much more predictable.
Rafael ate him up the last time we played Arsenal.

Are people suggesting Nasri is a better player than Iniesta? :wth:
Iniesta is two classes above nasri when they would be played in a heavy passing based team, like current barcelona
but, only in that kind of team

of you dont play the style iniesta suits, nasri is a better player.

What evidence do you have to say Iniesta only works in a passing game? He's only played for Barca and Spain, the two most possession-based teams in the world.

To make matters even worse, he's probably one of the few Barcelona players who tend to run at opponents. No. Iniesta's always class.

when barca is forced out of their playstyle, he is bad.

both games against inter, he was mediocre

most forgot, but when they got past italy with penalty's in 2008, italy played a perfect defensive game, with a massive chiellini. spain was forced out of its game, and iniesta was bad as a result.

Iniesta walked in the best passing club and national team

nasri was crucial at marseille, at france -21, current france and now arsenal.

if i'd face a mourinho team, i rather bring nasri then iniesta

i'd hardly call that running, and his ball recovery is nonexistant.

but apparently, the spain and barcelona style football fanboys are in this discuttion, along with the brazilian style fanboy, so i'm out of this
i prefer italian football, sorry
