Too much I say... I like the idea of gettin Rossi and all, but either he's being overvalued or Trez is being undervalued... If its Trez + 5 mil or something I think it should be fine... At the moment I don't think any other team is interested in Rossi either... So no point giving in to their demands...

No one needs to convince me Rossi is great and everything, but jeez, show some respect to Trez please!

Anyone who thinks that, (at this point in time & taking into our needs into account), Rossi is worth Trez + 15 million needs to have his head examined imo.
Our attacking compartment is great as it is, why spend money to change this? And note, I do mean change, not improve.

Plus, on a personnal note, to me Trez is just as important as Del Piero or Buffon is or Nedved was. The only way I'm ok with him leaving is if he himself decides it's time to move on. Treating him like some bargaining chip to get some other player is just wrong.

I don't care for Trezeguet anymore after his season's stupid comments. Rossi, get your ass here.

Del Piero - Diego - Giovinco - Rossi: We will be feared again.

I think a lot of his comments have been misunderstood. And you have to see them in the context too. Trezeguet is used to scoring a lot for us and he wants to be important. Getting back from a big surgery is always annoying and he felt it just wasn't going well for him. It's frustration, nothing more. And it's a good thing. I want Trez to be frustrated when he doesn't score. It shows he cares.

You must be joking, right?
How can one be a Juve fan, and at the same time dislike Trez? :luckyluke:
in the end the team comes before the player
except maybe in the case of del piero:p
(btw i like trez, but we have to think and decide whats best for the team and how to move forward and start winning things again

The team always comes first, even in case of Del Piero.
That wasn't my question though.

I asked how one could support Juve and at the same time dislike Trez. That just doesn't make sense.

To you maybe. I liked the team when ZZ was playing, but i certainly wasn't a fan of his, and didn't like him too much ether.

There are people who dislike Camo and are Juve fans, is that wrong? What has Trez got to do with being Juve fan or not?

The question is, with Rossi will we be guaranteed to score more goals than without him ?? 07/08 season we had one of the top strike forces in the league, last year wasnt bad but that was more due to tactics and lack of supply.
However good Rossi may be, he`d still be one of our 4 strikers, all of whom would look to start and justifiably so.
One of the main reasons for Trez looking to go elsewhere is we cannot assure him of a starting spot, so isnt a backup striker what we need at this point of time???
Spending 15 mill + trez does not make much sense at a time when our pockets are tight and we have other area`s the money would be well spent in.

some ppl just dont like certain players, irrelevant at which team they play
on the other hand you may like some players while you dont like the team.
i strongly dislike inter, but i like maicon as a player

Fair enough.
Trez is our highest scoring foreigner ever.
Fifth highest scorer in total.

He has done more for this team than pretty much everyone in the current team (alex being the obvious ecxeption, a few others might be debatable).

Call me stupid, but I don't see how you can dislike or disrespect him.

Most of you seem to forget that we only paid Werder Bremen 15 million euros (1st Installment) and we still have 2 installments to pay. According to some of you guys we have a budget of around 35 million euros, so that would leaves us with 20 million euros or so to spend.
Again :wallbang:

And what about the 2nd or 3rd installments we're still paying for Tiago, Sissoko, Amauri, Poulsen?

And what about next year? If we have a 50m eur budget for next year does it mean that we'll have to take 7m eur out of it for the 2nd installment for Diego?

No, you can't count it the way you did. 35m eur budget involves the total value of Diego because all 25m eur are counted in 2009's budget, just like what we're paying for Amauri is counted in last year's budget.

Wait. Disrespect is a totally different matter. I and don't think a fan of Juve should disrespect any Juve player, be it Alex, Trez or even Chimenti.

And you can like or dislike anyone in the team, that doesn't have any impact on being a fan of the team.
