Nedved: 'Marotta never a Juventino'

By Football Italia staff

Juventus director Pavel Nedved sniped at new Inter chief Beppe Marotta. “He’s a professional, but perhaps was never a Juventino.”
Marotta was one of the key architects behind the rebirth of Juve from seventh place to seven consecutive Serie A titles.
He was pushed out by President Andrea Agnelli and this week took on a new job with Inter.
“It was strange seeing him at Inter, now that it’s official,” Nedved told DAZN.
“He is a professional, but perhaps was never a Juventino.”

who cares. Most of our players and staff are probably not true Juventinos.

It is a job for most of them not the childish fantasy that many of us assume it would be for ourselves. So long as they do that job well and are always respectful towards the club and fans they can be closet Inter fans for all i care. Doesn't erase all of Beppe's work here.

1- He did his job and was really good at it...
2- Marotta never said to be a juventino
3- Juventus fired him...

I’m not saying Nedved insulted Marotta of anything but I don’t se the point of his comment... sounds like he is angry at Marotta and he shouldn’t be.

And also... lately been a “true juventino” dont works well... ask Marchisio :p

It's as if inter are looking into our trash can for sloppy seconds in the hope of changing their loser dna.

Honestly I'm excited to see how paratici does, I think he will increase our quality to a new level where marotta struggled to achieve at times

It is laughable really, but in a cringy way, something you would expect from a fan. Love Neddy and all that, but needs to avoid talking to a media for a while. :p

The whole concept of being "loyal" to only one big club is outdated imo. Football has moved on and has become just like any other career. Hence, job prospect has become the biggest priority for anyone associated with football.

you dont have to be at one club your whole life to be loyal. not joining their one hated rival is a good example of this

But as I said, job prospect is a priority these days. Inter was the best prospect for Marotta at the time, we can't expect him to go back to a team like Sampdoria and none of the big teams in Europe came chasing him. Logically, Inter were his best opportunity.
