Chelsea rejected for Juventus duo
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have reportedly rejected Chelsea’s first bid for Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain, believed to be around €90m.

New Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has worked with both players in the past, and they have been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Higuain appears to be surplus to requirements after Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing, while Rugani hasn’t managed to hold down a regular place in Max Allegri’s side.

According to Premium Sport, Chelsea presented an official offer of €90m yesterday, but it was swiftly rejected by the Old Lady.

Juve value Rugani at around €40m, while they want at least €60m for Higuain to avoid making a loss on him.

The Blues will therefore need to pay at least €100m to get the pair.

I know these guys are the best at what they do, but if the Bonucci rumours are true then they should consider growing some balls.

At first it was hands tied whenever a player wanted to leave, now they can come back if they feel like it ad if nothing happened.
