I understand the motivation part, I really do because I do believe that without motivation teams can't keep the same high level. But at the same time we can't have a policy where players could just ask to leave and get their wish granted.

It's really difficult because you don't want to keep players around that are not motivated because they were forced to stay around. The only solution to this would be to offer them new and improved contracts. But that shit clearly isn't what our board wants to see being used by agents and players on a regular basis.
They're professionals; once the season starts and they are training and playing, they'll be fine, unless they're an exceptional case where they'll be toxic to the locker room atmosphere like a Cassano. At the end of the day, they still want to win and be the best they can be.

De Gea was fine last season, Ribery when Bayern told him he couldn't leave for Real, Rooney when he wanted to leave, etc...

This guy is actually a more pathetic director than i thought, if he wasn't able to get at least a symbolic amount of money from City.
He says we will terminate by mutual consent and then goes about how he's disappointed. What a heart breaking story ffs lol. Gotta admit Beppe has lost some respect, but it's not enough for me to dislike or hate him yet. He's done far more good than bad but this will surely go down as a howler.

Building a team of Italians because we lose star players every year ?

As much as I hate to see us sell our stars , buying Italian just for the sake of retaining our players is just plain backward thinking.

As I've always said, if you buy Italians, buy the best. Quality over Nationality any day nevermind if we have to go through nauseating transfer saga's every year. Atleast it's producing the right results on the pitch.

Regardless there will always be a core group of Italian players at the club anyways.

You cant build a CL champion by leaving players to decide when they want to leave and you automatically grant them their wish."If you ask to leave then we sell you" policy is retarded and has no place in big club like Juventus. What are we...a conveyor belt from which you can jump off whenever you like?

Well you don't want to sign mediocre players. You would need to sign the best Italian players. Like you wouldn't put Sturaro in the team for simply being Italian. Basically: What I'm saying is look domestically first, and then if there isn't a player with the characteristics you'd like, look internationally.

For example:
We want a striker: Look at Belotti, if this is impossible, you don't look to Immobile, you look internationally.
We want a winger: Look at Bernardeschi, if this is impossible, you don't look to Stephan El Shaarawy, you look internationally.
We want an AM/Secondary Striker: Look at Insigne, if this is impossible, you don't look to Saponara, you look internationally.
We want a CM: Look to Verratti, if this is impossible, you don't look to Marco Parolo, you look internationally.
We want a CB: Look to Romagnoli, if impossible, don't get Tonelli, look internationally.
We want a fullback: Look to Florenzi, if impossible, don't get Santon, look internationally.
Goalkeeper: Donnarumma, if impossible, don't get Sportiello, look internationally.
You want young talent to come off the bench: Look at Pellegrini/Gagliardini, don't sign another Sturaro, look internationally.

If you're surprised we're a selling club in 2017 then you're fucking retarded. I don't care anymore. Which is why i'm on board to sell Bonucci and Sandro. Knowing Marotta, he will sell both, then buy a single useless 100m player.

Marotta was never supposed to have a place in big club like Juventus too. Shit happens.

That's the problem. 2 steps forward, 1 step backwards. Vultures from the EPL are ready as soon as we smell success. Arguably reaching the UCL final is the worst thing to keep the team together. If we want continuity, there has got to be more of a focus on domestic players...
Or maybe turn down transfer bids/requests?

it works for other teams

What's to stop any player from leaving, ever? As soon a player gets good enough to play for Real, Barca, Bayern, he's gone. Why would Dybala, Alex Sandro or Pjanic stay here if any of those teams come knocking? The only way we keep players is if they don't become too good, or are Italian, and unfortunately the one top Italian player outside of Juve we can't afford. Still, we could possibly even lose Bonucci too.

As long as this is our policy, we have to admit that we are a selling club.

We have no intention of selling anyone, but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go, because we don’t keep anyone against their will.
