Have you noticed how in previous season we made an early summer signing? Dybala and Pjanic and I think even more. This time around we didn't and that's because we have a complete squad that needs fine tuning. Now what worries me is how we end up jumping from one alternative to another when we stale with our options. Let's hope I am wrong like I usually am.

We'll announce Schick and Szczesny signings in a few days time if that counts for something

I think our targets have already been identified tbh

Who are the others?

I think we will get most of them. We will then wait on how the market progresses and seek out the mouth watering opportunities.

They spend almost double on wages, and earn around 80% more than we do. Baby steps :D

We are like the Cavs facing the Warriors with Durant. We are overpowered.
Can anyone compare Madrid revenue and player wages from 2011-2015 and compare it with ours? @Mark.. I always tag you in whatever I don't actually know... please help. Cheers

It appears Madrid was the first team to eclipse 500M in 2011/2012 season... We're at 550M this year right? In 2012 they still had Ronaldo, Bale etc.... I think the whole "we can't afford it" excuse is out the window now.

    Keita/Bernardeschi/Douglas Costa

We'll sign one, if possible 2 out of these 3 targets. If Keita doesn't come now, we've locked him up for free in 2018 so it's still possible we could sign two wingers.

    Fabinho/Tolisso/Can/Paredes

We'll sign one out of those four. The reason we haven't moved early is because even those selling teams want to wait it out until the biggest bid arrives.

The others mentioned in the rumors thread are all pipe dreams tbh. Our mercato objectives don't change just because we lost in a final again IMO.

Oh ok. When you said targets have been identified, I thought the list was bought down to just 1 or 2 names.

Is this enough to get the jump in midfield quality ?

Pre-injury Marchiso was absolute worldclass. Pjanic is worldclass but needs proper support in big games.

Khedira is the darker particle on dogpoo in big games

We need a third midfielder that has Cheesio/Pjanic quality. Can one of those become that ?
