translation: stop digging up my posts and making fun of me, forcing me to add pathetic lines like "Until the lion learns to speak, the tale of the hunt will be (weak) told by the hunter" to my signature. make fun of others instead, so i can call them "sycchophant biased hypocrites" and laught at them instead.

nice one lolsman
LOl, there is a reason he is quoting you and those select others. he and YOU or anyone else are very much free to quote anything of me, go ahead, see if you find as hilariously contradictory kiss-assery that change over a short period like that (hilarious how villified nobody Vidal became overnight...). I'm all yours to quote you two-celled brainfart.

Btw, really nice segway to link my sig with his name, muchissimo creativissimo hombre

GM should have got Allegri his TQ before he started any other dealings in the summer, Max wanted only ONE player, and Beppe still didn't get it for him

I'd concentrate on some of the dubious deals since you always put an emphasis on these and neglect all others. :p

I'd much rather keep Llorente here despite his enormous salary, seems like a cheaper solution overall, or at least at the moment. 18m surely could have gone towards some other signing. But you can spin it the other way around, Zaza has a resale value since he's young and also his salary is pittance compared to Llorente's. We could gain more in the end. Position of 4th striker in the team might bother Llorente too much. There's that as well.

Vidal? Debatable, transfer fee considering the season he had seems about right, but selling him without getting replacement would always seem like a poor business.

Tevez and Pirlo? These guys can't get you any money, due to age and Tevez's determination to leave, and they can't be replaced adequately unless you're prepared to spend quite a sum and you're willing to put aside some other deals. Especially Tevez, by far our most important player in the last two seasons and finding someone who will bang 20-25 goals per season will always be a challenge.

Irreplacable memeber of the team. I considered him to be among top 3 players in the world last year, having in mind the season he had. Very few could emulate his level of performances.

You can't miss out to sign one of the most promising LBs in circulation, even at the expense of some other signings. These players are hard to find and I doubt it was either Gotze/Draxler or Alex Sandro.

We signed Rugani in Januray and fee was few mills. Irrelevant for our transfer budget.

Yeah, creative mid was definitely much needed here and he's at fault for not providing the team with one, but it also can't be an excuse for our poor season so far. Most of the teams we have faced have even bigger issues and their squads look shambolic compared to ours.
Again he made good deals if you look at them individually but he did not prioritize. Replacing Tevez is difficult thats why you don't get a little kid with no experience (and no sub to rotate with even) as the only SS in the team when that role is central to your game plan. Get someone ready.. at least more ready than a 20 year old from Palermo. Dybala is also the only SS in the team with no subs. I dont know why we bought Zaza when we have two ST

I am not concerned with the lack of CAM (though it wasn't addressed properly), I am concerned with a lack of CM who can orchestrate the midfield. It is not an excuse if marchisio was not injured. It is an excuse when Marotta leaves the squad with only marchisio to play this role and then marchisio gets sidelined for months. What did he expect? Marchisio would start every game all season and perform at last season's level? No ups and downs in form? No injuries? How the hell didn't he get someone to do the same job is beyond

As an AM, no friggin brainer, but as you continuously show, you are utterly incapable of assessing anything non Juve with basic sense, its kinda masochistic of you to want to re-open that embarrassing tidbit about Cazorla again.

Its extra funny to bring it up when we got a hopelessly unintelligent Hernanes as our only AM too.

Im tired of insulting Conte, but maybe, a little maybe there...he was right about Marotta doing whatever he wanted instead of listening to the coach?.

We all know Conte was fantasy footballing... but the lack of AM, the reluctance to paying for draxler when he was reachable...Vidals sale, Zaza and the last inclusion of Hernanes....really makes me wonder if Marotta just follows what agnellis says and totally ignores the coach?.

I mean, Marotta has done an excellent job in keeping us afloat and finding very good players on the cheap... but now that we were in a position of power where thw coach could ask for something...he just seemed to ignore and do whatever he pleased.

Its the only explanation i find to his actions of leaving the AM for last.

a lot of the issues the teams has will be fixed once marchisio, morata and one of asamoah or khedira are fit.

morata will fix the woeful goal scoring. and marchsio and asamoah will fix the lack of drive and link ups in the midfield.

henanes should never be near the first team as long as cuadrado is fit. cuadrado should be given free role

We look like Real did after they sold Makelele. Except we basically sold three Makeleles.
indeed. but lt's be honest injuries have messed with us big time.

3 main cms are injured, and the other main one is out of form.

best striker cant stay fit.

that's almost the entire first team. one some of these players become fit the squad will perform. .

All of this goes back to the areas of the team where money is spent. For several years, we have purchased players that were quoted to build the base of the team to provide a solid mix of experience and quality. If this was truly the case and everything went according to plan, there wouldn't be a need for ten new players every year. The base would have already been there. That way, the transfer money could have been spent on proven quality players. Sure, we could have sold Vidal, Pirlo and Tevez, but instead of replacing all sorts of squad positions, we could have focused on those three, or a combination of them and an attacking AM. But that didn't happen, and now we are essentially starting over. Next year we will probably have to start over as well since Hernanes isn't good enough, Khedira is always injured, Mandzukic may not fit in our system, Morata and Pogba may be sold, and Zaza simply doesn't cut it.
