Anyway,everybody wants to watch EPL and none wants to watch Serie A.That's the only difference b/w the two even though Serie A still got the 2nd biggest domestic tv deal.

Compared to other leagues, I don't see a drastic growth for Serie A at this point.
For Juventus to grow further, it needs to be less dependent on tv revenue and increase our commercial revenue instead.At the moment, we are banking on European performances to attract lucrative sponsors.
Hope there is some plan because I have no idea how we gonna compete with EPL/real-Barça money in the future.

there are 2 teams above 500m. even chelsea are pretty far from getting 500m a year. (they were below 400m, according to the latest money league report.) they still can afford signing world class players. anyway, i think it's not our path to acquire talent the real madrid way.

Chelsea absolutely aren't far.

They have already broken the €400m barrier and will break the €500m barrier too when new tv deal kicks in.
The new epl tv deal will impact football heavily.The top 4 teams alone will earn some €100m extra compared to the previous year.

That is why United are expected surpass Madrid in turnover by the end of next yr.

That's a huge achievement because Madrid have maintained the top spot for a decade.

In the EPL, everyone is fukin rich. Stupid TV deals, legendary teams like ManU and other teams full or sugar daddies.

In spain, Madrid and Barcelona have created a cult that every sheep in the world follows. Madrid got lucky with the "ciudad deportiva" deal more than 15 years ago which gave them the boost to be the power they are today....and barcelona catched up on them thanks to the ronaldinho/Messi eras....and all the other feeder teams benefit from being slaughtered by those 2 because everyone in the world sees them.

Bundesliga, theres bayern and theres the rest, but they did a fine job nurturing young players and continue doing so since 2002.

In italy, theres only Juve. Thats it.
We dont have a popular rival anymore, as most teams are trash and go to europa league just to be manhandled.
we dont have sugar daddies ala abramovich/sheiks (we have exxor but they will not go into the sugar daddy business, ever..).
Heck, not a single team have their own stadium apart from Juve...and most of those rented stadiums are relics from the past.

As long as the other teams stay in mediocrity, and as long as italians and serie A players go to others leagues just to be embarased,,, serie A will never be taken seriously again.

In the end he made a gamble selling Vidal and hoping to convince Gotze to come here.

Then the drax saga. Only time will tell if Beppe made the right call of not paying 30M for him in July and get the player.

A good couple of good seasons at wolfsburg and he is gone to EPL for 80M.
