Coman had his chances and he blew 'em away. I'm not saying he did bad, but he never lived up to be a starter and he didn't like being a sub for the time being. Juve did what they always do with players not wanting to play on. Also, a total of 28 million for him is a good deal for us, a gamble for Bayern.

Sturaro+25m adds up to almost 40m for Hamsik. I don't think Hamsik is worth that much money these days.
the 28 million deal is only an option for bayern after they have tested him around four 2 years. If he is shit then he'd cost them just the loan fee (6 mill) and whatever small salary he earns and if he is good they will get him for 22 million. They are not taking a risk almost at all. The only way we will have him back is if he turns out to be a poor player.

But isn't loaning out a 'shit' player for a total of 7 million is just brilliant business?

I am assuming you have never overpaid for anything in ur life :D

The amount was 25 million in cash; 40 million is assuming we value Sturaro @ 15 million. 22 Million + Sturaro for Hamsik isn't a horrible deal, is it?
The very definition of overpaying is not getting enough in return for your money. Which makes it a bad deal regardless of how you look at it.

Imo, 22 million + Sturaro for Hamsik is horrible.

Agree . We got sturaro for 8 mil iirc , he is worth 12-15 now Imho , that would make hamsik cost at least 30 , and they had the guts to also ask for rugani

Marotta on the mercato:

"We received offers of up to 100m for Pogba, but we resisted. Juventus wants to win and that's why we decided to keep Pogba- If Pogba maintains the performance of last year, then 100m maybe not enough.

We were on Hamsik track for more than a month, we spoke to De Laurentiis more than 10 times. He was a player who fit the bill, and if you want to win in Italy you need those players.

The oscar of the mercato I willingly give it to Inter, but they have to confirm it on the field.

On Draxler I already said there were objective difficulties, Schalke's a mysterious team. We lacked fluidity of dialogue with them. The demands, in our opinion, were disproportionate. I also believe the player had some concerns that affected the deal.

Mercato regrets? There are some names that aren't even talked about."
