Harsh. But it is how we feared a few years ago, we often wondered what would happen if Marotta was given big money to spend.

Dont know if you remember but we even joked that we would prefer a pogba straight swap with x PSG players because Marotta would not make good use of that money.

Here we are. 120 millions spent and possibly more for no AM/ or an ordinary average or even mediocre one.
thats why i asked ocelot for how much we spent, sandro is the only 'real' starter(hopefully) all the rest should be at best bench material for us

The society was full of shit from the beginning. Defending someone just for the sake of defending.

Sure, Marotta haters are just as annoying but right now, the situation we find ourselves in he's well deserving of the critizing he's getting. He fucked up big time.

Cuadrado in Fiorentina form & Dybala?

But it's mostly long-term investments in young players for sure.

:agree:

Really weird dealing by our management this summer, we would've been better spending that 120 mil on 2 players than the plethora of average players we signed bar Sandro and hopefully Dybala in the next few years.

You people sound like Madrid fans who wanted Ramos out of the club as fast as possible. That will never happen Ofcourse.

Same way in our case Marotta is barely in a position where he can get fired or even have his position reviewed.
He's a long term option.Just deal with it..

I am not even a Marotta fan but the club won't make a stupid decision like that.

He's a big reason in the revolutionizing of our finances.

But as someone said, he can't rest on his laurels and hopefully he makes sure the team continues to remain competitive.

Lets see how this season goes before overreacting.

I like Cuadrado and think he is a good signing. But it made no sense. He doesn't fit in what's supposed to be our main formation, Allegri's main formation. He's being forced to change his coaching ways because our board decides to randomly look for opportunities instead of focusing on the roles that still need players for.
