But I NEVER SAID that he was a better signing, did I?
I was one of the few people who were laughed at during the 2nd part of the 2010-2011 season when I was of the opinion that everything went downhill the moment Quag was lost for the season, because he was that vital for Juve staying above water.
You're being baited by the same people who helped start this stupid debate to begin with.
As or Dybala and his potential price, I think it will pay of in spades in the immediate and long term future. I like Khedira, not love him, but he is on a free transfer and solidifies this midfield rotation as possibly the best in Europe.
Yep. Matri will easily be remembered 20 years from now, due to that big moment. Such a guy could never be deemed a bad signing. Especially not when the total cost is 6 million.
Quag will be remembered the same way the likes of Rui Barros are remembered. Aka "ohh, did he play there? How neat. Didn't know that." or "Oh yeah that's right. He was there too. Slipped my mind."
Quag>Matri, Matri is a journeyman striker who was a mediocre striker for this club but still played an important part in our history.
He definitely over achieved for the little talent he had.
Quag was a class player for us and delivered for us much more when needed. He scored very important goals for us throughout our CL campaigns and if he was given more game time might have even been better.
It's not even a close debate for me I would take Quags over Matri every single time and wouldn't hesitate.
