We need to not make the same mistakes Inter made towards the end of their manufactured cycle. By 2009-10 (their peak) their team was very old, and the quality of the middle-aged players was indifferent (Sneijder and Thiago Motta being an exception). They didn't plan ahead, and as soon as they started to slip the wage bill crushed them.
We on the other hand are generating a higher level of income than Inter did at that peak, we have a solid wage structure, and more importantly even though we do have a fairly old starting eleven we have a project involving talented young players which is already paying dividends.
