Looks like he is going to extend his contract till 2018 along with Paratici aswell

:beppe:
I'm actually quite happy with this. Some fans criticized him in the summer for signing depth players, but as we can see in the last match, Pereyra stepped up and did very well. Evra has also been more than a decent replacement for Asamoah this season. Morata was seen as a backup for Llorente, but he showed Allegri what he could do and became a starter. Marotta deserves credit for his smart buys this season.

Yep, all his signings have all delivered so far. He has done a fantastic job so far.

The main problem of the future will be that he raised the standard to such a level that sooner or later he paradoxically will become the victim of that standard.

For the first time in modern history we will win 4 Scudetto's in a row, that's already clear in March and now things seem to come together internationally as well. One year in the future of us not winning the Scudetto and he'll be irrationally lynched.

Abate to prolong, DJ to leave on free. Another super masterpiece of G. We loose a good player, a real midfielder for HIS role, and keep and probably (for sure!) overpay a fullback that defends like a headless person. MAking a goal-mistake every 2nd or 3rd game. Keep it up.

Zaza to JuBe. Dymbala close to Juve, Rugani a juve player. Go Galliani.

We need to not make the same mistakes Inter made towards the end of their manufactured cycle. By 2009-10 (their peak) their team was very old, and the quality of the middle-aged players was indifferent (Sneijder and Thiago Motta being an exception). They didn't plan ahead, and as soon as they started to slip the wage bill crushed them.

We on the other hand are generating a higher level of income than Inter did at that peak, we have a solid wage structure, and more importantly even though we do have a fairly old starting eleven we have a project involving talented young players which is already paying dividends.

1-2 years at a 'peak' level: Buffon, Barzagli, Tevez (leaving), Evra, Pirlo, Llorente, Storari, Padoin, Pepe
3-4 years: Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Marchisio
5+ years: Pogba, Vidal, Pereyra, Bonucci, Caceres, Asamoah, Morata, Coman, Ogbonna, Sturaro, Marrone, Mattiello, Rugani, Berardi, Zaza, Leali

Depth (3-5-2 for ease of use):
Buffon
(Storari)
(Leali)

Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
(Caceres) - (Rugani) - (Ogbonna)

Lichsteiner - Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba - Asamoah
(Padoin) - (Sturaro) - (Pirlo) - (Pereyra) - (Evra)
(Mattiello) - (Marrone)

Morata - Tevez
(Zaza) - (Berardi)
(Llorente) - (Coman)

Marchisio's only 29 and in his position he can thrive for at least five more years. Although he might not be a starter by then so I see your point.

Great summary.

I think we will be fine and even better with time but it is a little worring that our 3 most important players are red: Buffon, Barzagli and Tevez.

And I am not sure Lichtsteiner can keep his current form for the next 3-4 years.

Depends on the quality of our opponents/how many points we rack up etc.

One thing is for sure, given the overall quality of the squad (which should last some years at least) the CL quarters are a must. And not improving in Europe will be criticized as a failure.

You've got to give it to Marotta. As well as performing some of the biggest coups in football (Pogba, Vidal, Tevez), he's barely put a foot wrong since Martinez and Krasic. Only Llorente has been a real flop from what I can recall.
To add, he's buying youth that either look promising enough to one day start at Juve or at least are improving enough to become real assets on the market.

Props. I thought he was an absolute nightmare after his first season.
