That's not true. He also got his nt debut in Torino. Ogbonna, in his position, was as proven, if not more, than Immobile.

Management believes he has the potential to be a better player than Immobile.

That's all that needs to be said really. Immobile had a good season, but seems like a limited player, without too much room to improve further. Replacing him with younger, more talented player for the same price seems sensible.
