He's not. You really need to stop blind hate on Marotta man. He took over and had a mess to clean up. Fiorentina were building.
Del Neri has shown himself to be a provincional coach.
You far to easely ignore the enormous financial issues he had to solve when he came here. And how well he did that, allowing him to progressively build this team.
Certainly, you need a good coach aswel. But juventus clearly got the best team in italy. And that is down to Marotta and nothing else.

I agree Conte should get credit for pointing out with his finger who to sign though. Marotta + Conte duo was more of a decent partnership due to Conte IMO but you can't write off Marotta just like that. He's not the best DS in Italy but far from the worst too.
Crows might go extinct if allegri manages first in serie a and progress in cl. Only contes first season win was unexpected. The last two we had a much much better team than the rest. Conte deserves credit for breaking records with that squad, altho he was lucky in his first season thanks to impossible milan injuries
We managed to dramatically reduce the wagebill and lay off aging legends who were far over their peak.
We added some players, Del Neri didnt use properly, but Conte did.

All other signings for the first team were either vastly overvalued or had no impact. The only exception would be asamoah and vucinic, paid big bucks but paid off. But when someone criticize marotta exactly for this money wasting, he is a fucking peasant with no brain.
