Emerson was bought for like 15 million Euros and Matteo Brighi, or something like that. How was that overpaying? The guy did well under an absolutely retarded coach. He wasn't used properly and Capello probably expected him to be Veron or something.

Vieira was wanted by several clubs, including Real Madrid and Miami Heat.
Well, that makes a lot of sense, considering that Capello was Emerson's coach for 4 years at Roma. Or do you forget all the controversy that Emerson caused by wanting to come to Juve and only Juve. But maybe we shouldn't count that transfer then, because after all , it was only because the player wanted to come to Juve that Moggi was able to get him.

And as far as Vieira was concerned, he was pushed down the pecking order by an 18 year old Cesc Fabregas.

Barzagli: Flop in Germany, nobody wanted him apart from Juve.
Lichty: Singed from Lazio, none of the big sides from other leagues wanted him.
Vidal: Stated several times he only wanted Juve.
Pirlo: Old player, no other big club wanted him.
Pogba: Marrotta's best signing and nothing will ever top that one.
Asamoah: Meh.
Llorente: Good signing, but no other big sides were interested.
Tevez: Player on his last legs, none of the bigger sides wanted him.

Apart from Pogba, he signed players that wanted to sign for us. Big deal.
You can't make this shit up

Giovinco wasnt gotten back from loan, do you even TRY to attempt to make sense? Why would anyone pay to get back a loaned player? Sold half of him and bought it back after its value increased by triple after excellent performances.

And some cold hard reality for you, current starting eleven, give or take some figures, Marrotta's purchases bolded (+transfer fees):

Buffon

Barzagli (300k) - Bonucci - Chiellini

Lichtsteiner (10m) - Vidal (10m) - Pirlo 0m) - Pogba (300k+1m to agent ) - Asamoah (18m)

Llorente (0m) - Tevez (9m)

48m in total for players he bought that make up almost our entire first eleven.
We got pogba for free not for 300k and a lot of the work goes to nedved who works behind the scenes to find this talents.

also take in account that he overspent on players like giovinco, peluso padoin etc..

It's already been topped. The day Marotta was in Leverkusen back in 2011 to close a fantastic deal.

Llorente: Good signing, but no other big sides were interested.
Hmm. Real Madrid and Barcelona(Guardiola) has been after him for years. Man Utd and Arsenal also had links, but i'm not sure if they were serious. Leets just be happy that Guardiola had Mandzukic in Bayern.

I heard that Moggi was so good he kidnapped players and made them play for Juve.
:agree: He held them at gunpoint. Often he would pretend to be a fan asking for an autograph, and foolish players upon signing it would be forced to play here, in one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. No one wanted to come by himself, but only through Moggi's cunningness and sagacity we'd managed to acquire so many great players.

Now please repeat that bolded bit in your post again, I dare you.

And I say this all as someone who has been critizicing and questionning Marrotta for most of the last 3 years...

I even forgot he signed Bonucci in his first summer in charge. Add that bargain price to the overall value of the first eleven ;)
We did not have the intention to sell him, just to loan him.
But Marotta is so incompetent, he cant evwen loan one of the most talented players in the Italian penisnula and he also had to concede half of his contract at a very very low fee and didnt even have the prudence to set a buy back clause.
His excellent perfromance didnt make his half cost 15mil meaning Giovinco's full contract would cost 30mil.
Parma just fully abused Marotta's incompetence and this was not the first time, nor the last we are bleeding cash.
Almost every deal MArotta makes we lose huge ammounts of cash.
Moggi used to make profit from loaning such players, now we pay 15mil, just to get them back...

Don't forget the 30 million Euros he paid for Bonucci.
15+7.5mil at 3 player contracts we have conceded, one of them being Criscito, a LB which we have yet to seen ever since serie B...
'Martinezs', it gets funnier. Marotta overpays for deals he hasn't even paid for yet, next level $#@!.
Before you go and insult ppl just do some research, Martinez, who now plays in serie B, still loaned there by Marotta, was bought the summer year along Bonucci...
