Continuity is important for our club right now.
Improvement is also needed and while he has done a good job we can do better; continuity was more needed in the past years than this one imo. Also, it's not like we're considering changing all of the board (now that would be disastrous), simply one position of it. As I said many times, if we can't find better then fine, no problem at all, but if we find someone (not necessarily in Italy) that is more competent, why oppose to it?

Marotta is the best in Italy and probably he is the best in the world

And yes im not the fan of marotta.
Best in Italy you'd have a case even if it is debatable but best in the world, don't exaggerate.

Them being able to speak Italian is not only very important for this role, I'd say it is an absolute necessity.
That is a good point.

Since Moggi is banned, there are 2 big sporting directors in Italy - Marotta and Galliani, and only of them is the man of calcio - Marotta, while Galliani was minion of fortune, especially when he owned his own channel and soon met Berlusconi and they've started to work together
what about the 2nd part???

That doesn't make him the best DS in the world.

And he didn't exactly start as a waterboy...
Lol, so according to you his results are weak?
In 1978, at the age of just 21, Marotta began his career in football when he was appointed as Director of Youth Department for his hometown club Varese.
Started from the bottom, director of youth department when he was just 21 years old!
