are we really that poor, or we are just being cheap?

We do some dubius decisions, we have commited 40mil on Asamoah and Isla, but wouldnt give that cash for Cavani?
And then we commit more on Peluso than we were willing to give in order to get Llorente now?
All the while wasting 11,5mil just to get Giovinco back, because Marotta didnt include a buy back clause, losing the cash needed to get L. Lopez (8mil) just because Parma decided to inflate his 50% price tag...
Imagine if we had Lisandro now instead of indecisive Gio....

Love how Cronios slapped an extra 500 000 euro on the Giovinco deal, and at the same time portrayed the potential signing of LL at a cost of 8m, subtracting an entire 3 million from what would've been the case (11m).

And slapped 5 million onto Isla + Asamoah. One can't help but wonder if he cooks books on a daily basis, twisting numbers to suit his agenda is like a natural instinct.

They will collectively cost us 35m EU. That's an entire Padoin away from the 40 that you're reporting.
it was more like 37mil, and we did not bid that high for Cavani, are you denying that?
We should never give 50% of Giovinco and we lost a lot of money to get him back from our budget. We ended up regretting that co own deal as it was foretold. Isnt this why i criticised the co own deal years ago?
And Peluso now would have been less of an impact than Llorente now...just to show how Marotta still fails to percieve our priorities...

Everything i criticed Marotta about, months/years ago, returned to bite us, his strategical mistakes affect our potential.

11m Lisandro > 11m Giovinco
Very debatable, all things considered.

But we were never posed with a choice between the two. Giovinco has already been here for half a season now, so it was never a question of either / or between the two of them. The 11m spent on LL would've had to come in addition to the 11m spent on Giovinco, and even though I like LL, 11m is quite the sum for a 30 year old player who's past his best.

Well, we could've not bought Gio and then bought/loaned Lisandro now.

The point is that if Marotta opted for a simple loan we would never had to lose all that cash for Giovinco.
This is where the mistake lies! Its not only we risked to lose the player, not only we lost millions because of it, but we also commited on of the largest ammount commited in the summer mercato.
This was a mistake Marotta did in the past, repeated with Sorensen and will repeat with Maronne and more...

These deals make us bleeding millions and cut affect our budget allocation in a dramatic way.

As for the cash we commited on Asamoah and Isla, it would surely net us a finisher we can only dream of and i am sure that such a huge early bid for Cavani would do the trick!

Asamoah turned out to be very important though.
