So if we win the Scudetto again and go far in the CL with Anelka in the team will your opinion change on Marotta? What matters isn't the names, but the results.
The problem is his inability to sing someone who is in reach. I get Aguro and dzeko and Rvp. He's fighting other top teams with more money and better experience dealing with such high fees. Lisandro wasn't that type of transfer and the fact he was incapable on closing it worries me yes. The team built was by Marotta and co yes but all could of been flops If not having proper training or mentality or played in the right positions that's mostly because of conte. So to answer your question yes I will still be disappointed in him. If we win ill cheering and congratulating everyone including Marotta but the fact we win u
is not because of him and if we lose serie A I'm not going to blame him either because it wouldn't be his fault.

I never said Anelka Sucks or is incapable of scoring I said I do not like him and I'm disappointed he was unable to secure a very reachable target in lisandro If I hear something like it was out of his Hands then fine but until then yes I am not happy at the fact he settled for someone that I feel won't be do much. If I'm wrong I'm wrong and ill be happy I'm wrong but the success of this team is ultimately down to conte not Marotta.

Epic troll this guy is. First, he gets Bendtner, then that lanky wanker gets injured. We get linked to the likes of Drogba and Lopez (far better options than Le Sulk), and we end up with a guy who has been on temporary retirement in China  :howler:

FML :sergio:

Marotta = almost 0 competence when signing strikers.

I give him credit for that, but the signing of Llorente on a free doesn't give him a carte blanche to sign shitbags like Bendtner, Anelka, overpay for Matri, and get rid of Del Piero while doing all this ;)

He gets a zero for acquiring Llorente on a free transfer as well? Cool story brah
why you arguing over something no one has knocked him for? llorente was a free transfer. great deal done. People are getting frustrated because Lisandro was an attainable target and the fact lyon were open to loan should of been easily managed for Marotta. Obviously we arnt in the negotiations so who really knws but from all the info that has been published marotta obviously didnt want to up his offer 1-2 million more. Now if the reason is because lyons board wanted more money then fine but 8-9m for him is almost a no brainer especially if the deal was initially a loan then purchase. all we are sayin brah ;) not arguing that he had made good signings but how many damn loans, free transfers can we make? eventually he needs to step up an sign someone in the forward dept.

are we really that poor, or we are just being cheap?

We do some dubius decisions, we have commited 40mil on Asamoah and Isla, but wouldnt give that cash for Cavani?
And then we commit more on Peluso than we were willing to give in order to get Llorente now?
All the while wasting 11,5mil just to get Giovinco back, because Marotta didnt include a buy back clause, losing the cash needed to get L. Lopez (8mil) just because Parma decided to inflate his 50% price tag...
