As a token of my appreciation for you and other members of the society, and after witnessing the events that transpired in the Immobile thread, I have decided to commemorate this momentous occasion by donating 10 (top player jersey number) Marotta sized dildos to the society, so that you may ram and attack all your enemies without remorse. The only question that remains, is in what color would you like your customized Marotta dildos or CMD's? They come in pink, black, and white.

Is there also an electrified model powered by a small Jeep engine? The "Wrangler" edition?

exactly

People dont realise, in the winter players value go up 150%

No one can be realistically bought, unless its a bosmann.

So what do people want, us to spend big on an average player, or wait for the summer to get better.

its not even a question really
this is what we said last year and we were forced to loan Borriello.
And then wasted the entire summer, with the excuse that we will land our target in the summer transfer window cheaper and now you are saying that we must wait yet another transfer window?

But it is NOW that we have the need, not when the opportunity arises, are we chosing our priority targets, or we are just waiting for them to happen?
And since its the 3rd year without a proper finisher, we should opt for a decent compromise NOW, until the opportunity of a great target arises, without wasting the whole waiting time.
We are supposed to be a competitive team, competing at the highest levels, we can play with Matris, Borriellos and Bendtners for years, in the hope that some day, a great opportunity might arise and we might have the chance to sign him...

No more excuses left, in this transfer window will be judged, the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
The only excuse Marotta has not to sign the finisher we were searching for 2 years in this summer transfer, is this transfer window, when the CL competition and the championship are still open.

what a tool that marotta is

Building a team that won unbeaten serie a and record points in a calender year, and so good that it topped the toughest CL group, and all this without a great striker !

But wait, lets just forget that, and focus on the fact we dont got a striker instead !

The only legitimate thing you can hold against Marotta is his failure to land a good CF.

But how much exactly is it hurting us?
I don't know yet, so far we have dropped a 5 point lead in 7 days and we have ahead of us a busy schedule with difficult away games and CL playoffs. I say let's not buy a proper forward and see how it will turn out to be. Let's do it.

Yeah that group had 2 very good teams, our group had 3 very good teams

I bet even the danes would have taken 4 points against man city

Yep, after record points in a calender year, an unbeaten scudetto and finishing first in the toughest CL group...

...and having our best striker out injured, missing our left flank, missing our best cm this season so far...

Lets blame it on the striker

You poor depressive man

You'll probably get your wish :D

I don't recall who said it recently (think it was Mourinho or Ferguson?), but Juve not having a go to guy up front may very well be a positive thing rather than a negative one. Now, I'm not sure about that, but it's definitely a possibility one should consider.

It's actually not my wish but I am almost sure it will happen.

As for not buying a forward being a positive thing might be true if we actually field 6 midfielders like Spain did in the Euros. But we don't.

And look how much it is hurting us now.
yeah, we are already out of champions league, coppa italia and are chasing the top spot in the league .... oh wait !

people always want more and more and more phantasizing that it could always be better. who says that we wouldn't be in the exact same position we are in now, even with a top striker from the summer on ? what could have been better ? having 15 points over the second place in the league ? finishing first in the champions league group phase .... oh wait ... kicking milan out of the coppa italia ... oh wait.
just because we would have some top striker does not mean that we would automatically add X goals to our statistics. nearly every player we used was useful in one way or the other and with a top striker replacing one player Z we would obviously miss out what Z offered and just replace it with better finishing skills. we could get a trezeguet style of player and would have a better conversion ratio for our chances, but on the other hand not be able to play a possession game and you can forget about pressing the opponent into early errors if you have a lazy douche like vucinic plus a slow mole like trezeguet up front.
