It's actually not my wish but I am almost sure it will happen.

As for not buying a forward being a positive thing might be true if we actually field 6 midfielders like Spain did in the Euros. But we don't.
I think that our team is strong enough to do well even if we don't get a striker, but it is an obvious problem, I remember Marotta saying far back in the summer something to the effect of "a top striker is an obvious priority". He failed to land one but it hasn't hurt us too much so far so he got away with it, however now in the latter stages of the season and when we have players missing, a quality striker who just needs 1 maybe 2 chances to score would take the pressure off the rest of the side immensely and help them cope easier. Also the extra quality of a clinical striker will be even more effective in the Champions League.

Well, the problem is the very notion of having the wrong combination of players injured.

We can coop with chiellini out, asamoah will cover for his replacement, and other way around, chiellini can cover for asamoah's replacement
Chiellini AND asamoah out at the same time, its losing an entire flank, for that we have no cover.

Marchisio is our best cm this season. it allways tough missing him tho pogba does very well, however..

We only got 1 decisive forward, vucinic. Only he can connect midfield to attack, making the cm's perform so much better. Giovinco massively fails to cover for him.

If marchisio is missing, but vucinic is there, with pogba, its allright. If vucinic is missing but marchisio is there, its a loss, but we can cope.
If both marchisio and vucinic are missing, all creativity must come from pirlo, who will be marked and we shut down completely.

GIOVINCO MUST STEP THE FUCK UP.

We lost our leftflank, lost marchisio, and lost vucinic who is the most important player this season so far.

No team can cover that many at the same time.

Take pique, xavi, iniesta and messi from barcelol, see how they do
Take xabi, ronaldo and benzema from real
Take cavani, hamsik, cannavaro from crappoli
Take guarin, cassano from inter

list goes on. cant miss the 4 players that made the most impact on the team this season so far.

Are you trying to compare Vucinic impact on this Juve on the one the Messis, Ronaldos and Cavanis have on their respective teams. His 4 goals this season can really testify to that. Marchisio altough a very important player, he's no where near our best MF. The most impactful one is Pirlo with no doubt.

The poin is you were raving about how Marotta built a stong squad with amazing depth altough as shown by this streak we only bought mediocre players that can't replace anyone and shouldn't be anywhere near our squad. Yet some memberes lold when i said that depth is overrated if you have a quality starting eleven as shown by many examples like Barca, Man Utd, Bayern..

Yes that depth that many raved about seems so much thin all of a sudden. Depth was more important than a striker yet we see ourselves not able to finish a game to suddenly give it away because of some injuries.

What a failure of a hater you are.

1) Marchisio had more games in wich he was the best midfielder then pirlo so far THIS season.
2) We have dept, for rotation. But when certain combinations get injured, there is a problem. this is the case for every team. if you ignore this fact then you are just an unrealistic ignorant hater.
Every player that is missing could somewhat be replaced, but not 4 key players at once.
If it was giovinco, vidal, lichtsteiner and barzagli missing, it would be totally fine. we can cope with that.
3) vucinic has been the most important player of our team. without him we have a very hard time deciding games. he allways creates spaces for the team, and plenty of times, him comming on resulted in us eventually winning the game.

And, its pretty hilarious that i compare our 4 best players abscent to a simular thing happening at other teams, and you completely ignored it.

what a hilarious funny hater you are. Then again, thats hardly a surprise.

I love that the same members that were raving about our depth are now using the absence of some players as an excuse to our poor performances.
You're expecting the depth players to be as good as the ones who start? Erm, isn't that why they are called depth players? You'd expect a Chiellini, Marchisio or Asamoah to be on the bench?

Just so happens that we have a block of players missing from the same side of the pitch, and look - we concede our last three league goals from that usually rock solid area. Very supplies.

A simple thing about football is that no matter how good a player is, if you throw them into a lineup and they haven't played together many times (or ever, in the case of Peluso, Padoin at LWB, etc) then they will make mistakes and not be as solid as those who play every week.

I totally agree with you, thats why i said that having depth is overrated, you must a strong starting 11 with quality all over the pitch that will offset the fact that some players are missing, barca doesnt care if two, or three players are missing because they have qualuty all over the pitch, united are always missing players from the defence but its alright because they have WC players that will make the difference....

The minute we are missing an important player, other areas from the team is exposed and the supposed depth is just awefull.
