During Marotta's tenure we have lost both Trez and Del Piero, and replaced them with absolute garbage, players who are an insult to the Juventus Jersey. Only Vucinic of our current forwards is worthy of donning the Juventus Jersey.

Our strikers belong in a circus or psychiatric ward; we have the Lazy Genius, The Over-Rated Midget, The Talentless Danish Douche, and a couple of mediocre/average Italians.

Thank you very fucking much Marotta.

With all due respect, during Marotta's tenure we won a Scudetto and we've become a fearsome and respectable side, when it seemed impossible to make a comeback from hell. Whether he failed to bring a super striker for FIFA or not, he's our hero along with Conte. That's my opinion.

He has done good, but he has also failed miserably in key areas. Calling him a hero tho :shifty: :howler:

That's the whole point of criticism. I don't want him fired (that would be too harsh, but I don't want him getting a renewal either. I think he is like the Ranieri of Sporting Directors; he can only take us so far. He has done well thus far, but we need someone with more vision and ambition.

I miss Moggi

Hero  :howler:

He's anything but a hero. During his tenure, we also finished 7'th

Just saying ;)
He was cleaning up a huge mess done by Secco. He built the core of the team that season and won the Scudetto the one after. We couldn't even dare to dream to reach the third place. Yes, he is indeed a hero. Imagine we got a director like Sabatini or anyone of that caliber, our dream would've been holding the 7th place.

Bash Marotta all day long, but I believe he's a quality director.

Look. I'm not saying he's shit; on the contrary, he has done a decent job. Refer to my earlier post, right above yours.

I just think calling him a hero is a bit excessive, an exaggeration ;)

He's anything but close to what some people may suggest here. He has done an overall good job here, with some more or less questionable transfers, but who hasn't? Signing Bendtner was unnecessary. Unneeded. I don't think we would have been in a worse position if we didn't sign anyone upfront and left things as they are, pretty much because he doesn't improve us one bit in that area.

7.5/10 mercato.

7? 7.5? 8? whoa, lol... raise your standard please, we are the undefeated champions, having the most money in italy now, so swooping many players from other italian clubs is expected; landing some qualities outside italy was the challenge and marrotta failed miserably.

max 6/10 for me.

That's why it was so easy getting Jovetic and Cavani.

We were looking for a CF even before we have loaned Borriello.
It was unacceptable not to find anyone better, even back then.
Marotta should have been working on this all those months and sign the classy finisher in the very first week of this transfer period.
A Giroud class is the least the champions of Italy could do...anything below that is a failure.

There are no excuses, he either gets him or prooves beyond any doubt that he is incompetent!
Whatever the reason of failure (misdistraction, priorities fail, barter skills, failure to create the expected income from sales, etc) falls upon his shoulders
