Brilliant post Baggio, I try to reserve my judgement on things like this because we are not privy to all that goes on in these deals but it's plainly obvious that he's been far too stingy and left it until the last minute. Well, he obviously wanted other strikers ahead of Bendtner, but he just couldn't get them. How much he's at fault for it, is tough to say really (City not selling Dzeko, Llorente being held in the Bilbao prison dungeons by Urrutia, Berbatov's wife not wanting to move from England, Jovetic costing 30 million which we don't have, etc.).

Calling for his head, though, is simply laughable. He's built us a very good squad. It just lacks the icing on the cake, a top striker.

If we don't reach atleast the quarterfinals in CL and win the scudetto his position must be evaluated. IF there are sporting directors that could be capable of being better than him we have to consider it. Not signing Berbatov or at the very minimum a player of Pazzini's caliber can have a devastating effect on our season.

Frankly I am afraid we'll lose too much points against the minows with Vucinic as our best striker. Inter has the attack and desire to be a serious threat in Serie A.
