LMFAO Falcao went for 45m to a club that was like a kid in a sweet store on pocket money day.Pastore went to a team being bankrolled by another mega-rich egomaniac.
seriously i wonder if there will ever be any pleasing some folk,am i pissed we didn't get a big name? yes a little,but we are in no position to pay 45m for one player and upwards of 6m on wages.
we asked Marotta to bring us a new winger,he did that,we asked for new full-backs,he did that,we asked for a calmer head in midfield,he did that,we asked for a bit more creativity upfront,he did that
i would rather he did that than blow out whole budget on 1-2 players and leave our squad still horribly imbalanced.
as for Carletto and Didier...seem to remember we actually had both as coach before,Conte has earned his corn and should be given the chance to prove himself. unlike Ranieri and Del Neri he knows what is required to play for this club. unlike Ferrara he also has experience of managing a club team
the one area i really feel disappointed is that he didn't offload some deadwood but the real reason for this is the greed of player who have no desire to play football but would rather sit nice and comfortably on the bench earning a nice salary
this mercato is not perfect,it is not even great but some people need to gain some perspective on where Juventus are right now and what we can realistically expect

I know what you mean boz,but you gotta look at the complete picture including last season. Marotta has been a failure overall. So we were in no situation to land a big 45 m star,problem is marotta was not even able to get cheap youth. I am still a bit annoyed about the piazon transfer. If marotta would have been able to get rid of amauri (even for free) his wages would have paid for piazon's 4 seasons. Just an example.
True but then those same morons who support Marotta and apparently do understand the "perspective on where Juventus are right now" shouldn't pollute the forum all summer long by posting garbage in the GRossi, Aguero and Mercato threads.
If they truly understand what this man capable of, where this club stands, and the financial climate of this club then they should realize that no big name players would ever sign here.

Great, now they're the kings of the football world, no matter what. 
4.5M/year to Pastore, 40M transfer fee and no CL for PSG. We had funds to do that as far as I'm concerned. Not in an eventual bid war with PSG, but it's well known we could've got him a month or two before PSG. An no, I'm not saying Pastore is Marotta's fault, because I guess Conte didn't want him, but I'm just saying those players are not impossible to get as some want to make it to be.
I'm glad you're happy with the so proven Elia and Ziegler.
I made it clear in my post, we didn't need to get a Pastore/Falcao or even Suarez (the point was that they're not impossible to get, if you in someway missed it), as he's just another example, but at least we should've covered better some of our gaps to avoid as much question marks in our team as we could. A Vargas and a Lugano, for example, would do the job instead of Elia, Giaccherini and Estigarribia altogether. We'd probably even spend less with the duo I said.

What don't you get about it? What consistency will this club have if we keep hiring/firing GM's and coaches?

the last 2 years we have fapped at Aguero,Rossi,,Dzeko,Neymar
many of these without any substance at all and yet people continually raise the expectations of the quality of player we are able to attract right now.
if we had not signed any of this summers buys and instead bought 3-4 player people here would be absolutely going mental that we didn't fill all the gaps in our squad,we can't have it both ways
