Then just dont sign anyone.
I'd rather have some strikers to play matches with.

Signing a past his prime but still a handful Luca Toni on a pretty short deal is not a problem, not when you compare to deals like Martinez, or nearly every buy Secco made, for example. Looking at Matri, I shudder to think where we would be with the 'sign no-one' attitude. Without getting into Nick's favourite topic of 'are the loan deals final', we have some room to move with many of our players.

Seems like to me you are trying to defend Marrotta every chance you get.
Maybe you have shit in your eye or something? If I see something being posted that I don't agree with, for any member of staff or player, I will go against the majority. Maybe you should try it some time.

So just cuz they cost us 2.5m doesn't mean that we should sign them. A lot of players from Serie B would cost us 2.5m, should we sign them too? Also, Pepe will cost us much more than 2.5m. And Luca Toni was probably the worst transfer of them all. The man stopped being decent like 3 years ago and just the fact that Bayern Munchen, Roma and even Genoa wanted to get rid of him tells you a thing or two about him.

Lets see what Marotta can do this summer but if its still an all Italian orgie and more signings with zero ambitions then for the sake of our club they should just get rid of him. Also lets see how he handles the coaching situation cuz he really fucked up last time when he decided to bring in a small team coach in Del Neri. One of many acquisitions with no ambition at all.

What disturbs me is all the talk of the potential summer targets leads me to believe that Del neri will be back next year.

This, my friends, is the most troubling aspect of all
