I have no complaints today. I want to say that Marotta & Co have done a good job in assembling a squad to reach this far.

heres what will happen in summer 2013

Juventus: We made Suarez our main target

2 days before the tranfer deadline we sign Pazzini :)

The sad thing is that while we have shown improvement over the years, we still lack a good core of skilled players we need to be on the same level as Bayern. They have players like Kroos, Muller, and Alaba who came up through the ranks, while Dortmund has the likes of Gotze and Reus. All these years spent fuucking around with Secco not investing in solid young players will continue to haunt us again and again. Now here we are again. Pirlo is getting too old, players like Asamoah are played out of position, the forwards apart from Vucinic need to be replaced, and in another year so will Barzagli.

So once again, despite the success, we pretty much have a squad that needs to be revamped. Round of applause for Moratta.

Of great quality we have....
Long term: Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Asamoah, Bonucci
3-4 years: Chiellini, Licht
Will need to be replaced 1-3 years: Pirlo (Pogba?), Barzagli (Bonucci-Chiellini 4 man), Buffon (Leali :xfinger:)

This would be my squad for 13-14:
GK: Buffon, Storari
RB: Licht, Isla
CB: Chiellini, Bonucci, Barza, Caceres
LB: Kolarov, Peluso
CM: Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Pirlo, Asamoah
SS: Suarez, Vucinic
ST: Llorente, Immobile

Squad players: Quag, Pepe, Rubinho, Giacch, Padoin

We already had the team to reach this far since last year... Marotta did nothing to improve our chances in Europe and once again wasted around our cash in many players and ignored the places we have very weak options.

And dont forget, the only thing that took us from 2 consecutive #7, to top, in Italy, was Conte...

Don't know abut you, but I was retry impressed with the fight they put up in the return leg. The point being, that at this level, you cannot take on competition with your mentality alone. Yes, the team must have collective strength, but game changing players are needed because this is the highest level of football. Very little margin for error.

Do you disagree when I say that Marrotta cannot beat around the bush when it comes to the striker signing this season? There is no excuse. If we are looking for an opportunity or for signing a quality player on our terms, then he's not going to need an excuse next season cos he wouldn't be here.
I've already stated in this thread (on numerous occasions) that Marotta has no excuses this coming summer. We need a top SS (whether it's Jovetic, Sanchez, Suarez (lol) ) to complement the signing of Fernando Llorente. Anything less than this is unacceptable. It's really clear as day that we need a lot more quality in our attacking department.

I expected a retard explosion in here today. Comparing the activity of this thread with Contes thread begs of the question : oh buddha why so many single digit iq people in this world?
I wonder if there's such a thing as a negative IQ.

that would be very good imo we cant be too greedy too quick, these things take time if he can land one excellent to WC player a year we ll be aight
We obviously can't. Because if it backfires, we don't have the means to adjust swiftly.

Also, this summer is going to be very frustrating for a lot of people. Chances of us spending big on 1 individual player are extremely small. That much should be obvious by now.
