It'd be better to have this conversation after/if we actually get this guy.

You're hopeless, Cheese.
Lol, because i dont praise for every moves he make like you guys do. I posted a list of players he signed to solve our attacking problems. Getting the likes of quag and matri for ridiculous fees, talking about aguero, sanchez, higuain and then getting Vucinic. Some could argue that none of our attackers wiuld make it into last year Napoli team let alone the elite teams of Europe.

Other than Llorente, every move he made for our attack could be labelled a failure.

No, I don't think anyone cares at the moment what the Society will have to say as I think most have already made their minds up for this January mercato.

I'm mad because we still dont' have a game changer.

Lopez would have been close enough for the last half of the season.
you shouldnt expect a gamechanger in january...........also we paid for a gamechanger in the summer but he didnt deliver (hint he is the size of a smurf)

Strikers are really funny when it comes to evaluation or more accurately fan evaluation.

The only thing that matters is how many goals they score it seems. They're failures if they're not prolific machines sent from heaven to bulge the net at every opportunity. But only the ones that cost 40M can do that. In comparison, everyone else is a "failure". Quagliarella has scored at a steady rate whenever he's been healthy for us and still he's a "failure". Vucinic has been great for us and is still a "failure". Giovinco has a decent amount of goals and assists. Failure? Sure, why not. I guess we could call him average or "ok" or satisfactory but no. FAILURE.

If you don't want to "fail" with strikers then you better be ready to spend 40M and even then you're not guaranteed not to find a "failure".

Yes. Vucinic was a failure. Giovinco, the guy you fucking chumps were fapping for a whole 2 years for, was a failure. Matri and Quag were failures, irrelevant if Matri was our top scorer last season and Quag is our top scorer in Europe. And yes, let's compare bench signings such as Toni, Borriello and Bendtner with the others.

Look, I don't have the energy nor do I care enough to post another reply. Just please, for once, try not to twist your opinions into facts.

game changer I mean one who takes his chances in front of goal. (not ronaldo/neymar, etc)

I want a proven and consistent goal scorer. Was hoping Lopez now with Llorente in summer.

Sell Quag if it means Lopez is coming.

the society should be no more if he fail to sign lopez and only way he can save face is if a good reason to explained as to why the deal wasnt possible because otherwise everything in that has been reported is easily in Marottas capabilities.

me too, but they cost alot of money........especially in jan. in retrospect we should have sold gios half, instead of paying 11m. we would have had about 20m to put towards a goalscoring forward.

The Great Man never said we were going to sign a striker this winter, if you plebs want to get riled up about some idea you made up yourself that we should sign an attacker now - then so be it. The Society stands firm on this subject.

the coaching :sergio: how can it be that hard for people to digest that notion? give this team to del neri or ferrara and we wouldn't even been in top 3.
True that and it is a disgrace for a Juve fan not to aknowledge his merits, when everybody else and his goldfish does...

Whats more shameful is that some ppl only do that with the intend to troll other fellow Juventini, but hopefully deep inside the know the truth.

I attached a list i made of Marotta worst deals, they cost us 89.5 million, feel free to remove or add any players you disagree with but also note that i included Quagliarella although he was amazing because we paid the 10.5 million to make his deal permanent after his injury and not before which transformed it into a very bad deal.

I think some folks suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.

Looking to replace three strikers who are not of retirement age and not particularly wanted by other clubs cannot be considered a success. That is definitely a failure. If you believe that these players were meant for "building a base", then I suppose it did for the meantime, but we still overpaid for those strikers.

That said, I will give credit to Marotta for Pogba and searching for young talents across the globe, something I have wanted for years now. That is the only way we can compete in a world of money laundering terrorist money.
