we are scoring goals and winning matches now, but if we fail to score in 3 matches in a row resulting in 0-0 or even a defeat, people will call for marotta's head (and co.) because he failed to get us a striker...

seriously do you guys think immobile is the sollution to our problems? yes we have problems because we don't have a 20 goal + striker... once marchisio pirlo or vidal have a day off we fail to score because our strikers can't create something on their own.. this will result in "we suck" and "our team doesn't deserve the scudetto" and shit like that...

getting llorente for free or even for a couple million is the sollution to multiple problems.. every club in italy has problems with finances so we can't just splash 35m on one player like we did when we sold Zidane.. the other problem is that we have strikers who fail to score once and a while...

I think immobile isn't the sollution (yet) and llorente might be... so good job

I was sad you decided to leave, but when looking back at the whole ordeal it was probably for the best. You were working on some massive coronary problems in the summer :D

Man, I had to. I'm looking at the text messages I sent to Cam on the 30th and 31st of August re: Bendtner. Boy, was I pissed off.

Agree with your post and Immobile is certainly not the answer to our goal scoring problems. At the same time, neither do I believe Llorente is or can be, simply because he also relies on other players to create the chances and is more of a goal scorer than creator. On the other hand, his goal scoring abilities outmatch any of our current players' abilities.

It might be a good move but I am afraid that people on the forum who want Llorente now will be the same calling for Marotta's head if Llorente fails to deliver. Anyway, I still believe we should go for him if his preference lies with us. We will have to be very aware of his contract demands cause I don't want us to end up with another potential Amauri.

Peeps :hi:

All I did was preach the gospel of our Lord and savior. That's all I want to do, really. I believe that preaching His gospel is the greatest work to be done. When I think about why I want to preach the gospel of the Great Man, my whole body tingles and I begin to squirt out of every orifice. There's even gas. What he has done for this club is nothing short of remarkable, and I'm so happy to be a part of a Society through which I can practice my beliefs.

Question of the day. This is a good one too, I think.

When Lippi and Capello had their successes at Juve, was it based on good coaching, Moggi, or both?

Conversely, when Ancellotti did not do well at Juve (The same Ancellotti who went on to win 2 CL titles at Milan, mind you), was that the coaches fault, Moggi, or both?
huh? of course it was all came from good coaching than the SD :sergio:

seriously wtf is wrong with people who think like this? let's consider these :

1. lippi won CL before zidane and davids came! when del piero hasn't exploded! ffs, in a way, lippi won CL with an inferior squad than the later squad he had!
2. capello failed miserably in CL despite having overall better team than any of lippi eras!
3. ancelotti didn't exactly failed ffs, remember we suffered from huge mental fucked up after del piero injured and ended in intertoto cup and IIRC 9th finish? that was even worse than 3-2 seasons ago, and then when ancelotti came, we didn't exactly had huge squad change and yet immediately back to the top despite roma teams been better.

and do you think it was all moggi that fired ancelotti? moggi never been the CEO of juventus ffs.

1. Thats why lippi is a legend
2. thats bullshit because 1998 juve was the best in history and shits all over capello's juve. chocking ibra screwed him
3. 1 player doesnt make a fucking entire team, especially considering the quality it had
