There where loads of excuses, but the time has come that there are no more.
We have now a decent coach, we wont have to make massive changes and compromise.
We are in a strong bargain point as a CL team and reigning champions.
There are no more excuses left, i believe that Marotta has already proved he is not Juve material and shound not be given another chance to ruin our plans, capital and set more handicaps to Conte.

I reckon the clueless management would have a tough time to find a decent or even an equivalent management. As we our managers choices are more of a lotery. But this summer, the lies and illussions should stop!
Accepting that Marotta is a compromise we have to live for is different than praising him being anything more than a mediocre midtable Italian team manager, given a big black and white gun...
I see you're back to the negative anti Italian sh!te its nice to see

Are we talking about same Conte who you called selfish for taking Juve job?

This is his third season with us, so far how do you guys find Marotta ? I think he has made some terrible decisions.

1. Hiring Del Neri.
2. Signing Martinez for 12 M, Marco Motta 5M, signing Matri at 18m ,
3. Failure to offload Tiago for any money
4. Terrible valuation in selling Diego and Melo.

1 - DN had worked wonders at Samp, it was a decent idea, unfair to use hindsight now.
2 - Every one has their share of bad signings...Matri :shifty:
3 - Dont really care as long as the cunt is gone.
4 - We overpaid for them, their prices especially after failed seasons is pretty good.

3. Tiago kept refusing all other offers so he could go back to Madrid, who didn't want to pay. In the end they saved money by giving him a couple of million to fuck off.
4. The club was in a brilliant position to sell players at higher prices.

Why do people judge transfer fees based on the success of the player? The fee is what the player is worth at the time.

Motta for €5m - normal. He turned out shit, but he was young, Italian, and had some pedigree. €5m is nothing for Serie A prices. That he was the starting right back is the failure of Marotta here.

Matri for €18m - normal. 1 in 2 striker at Cagliari, still around 1 in 2 in Juve, peak age, Italian, striker.

Pepe for €10m - normal. I notice this one has gone quiet, I suppose it is an ok move now he is playing better? It was the right price for an Italian international at peak age playing for a good club.

Martinez for €12m - overpriced. He paid top dollar based on some notable big games, for a player at peak age, but ignored his unsuitability and questionable injury record. More like €8m.

Bonucci for €15.5m (Cr$22.5m) - little high, fair. Considering he and Ranocchia were being talked about as Nazionale mainstays of the future and off the back of a great season.

-------------------------------

Andy Carroll for £35m (€43m) - now that is funny, no matter what form he was in :D

TBH this summer is a big chance for marotta, his team are champions and playing in CL next year, have a fantastic base (quantity?) and we have Conte. The jury is still very much out on Marotta on weather he can actually get his big targets. Last year his job was difficult coz we were nowhere near CL or attractive for big names, this summer marotta has no excuses.

Let's hope he does the society proud.

I have more question about Martinez transfer not because of price that we paid but because of his football skills, i mean he is Left Winger for formation 4-3-3, why the hell he was signed if our manager said that he will use only 442 formation and there is no place for Martinez there?why he was signed first? This remind me current situation with Elia, Conte don't want to use wingers that can't defend, so why the hell we've signed Elia then

The bad

Arrivals:
12 Millions for Martinez - 14 games , 0 goals, 0 assists ~ so he cost us around 1 million per game + wages
9 Millions for Elia - 4 games, 0 goals, 0 assists ~ more than 2 millions per game + wages
5 Millions for Motta - this guy was 3rd choice in Roma, what was the reason to sign him? damn
5 Millions for Padoin - i'll never understand why he was signed
600k for Rinaudo loan - dafuq? i have no words :sergio: 5th or 6th choice CB in Napoli :sergio: we could save Legrottaglie instead of him or Ariaudo
500k for Traore loan - no words just :sergio:

Departures:
Trezeguet - Economical side: it was free transfer + we were payin' half of his wages, fan side: what the fuck was that? release Trezeguet to stick with Amauri e Iaquinta and to sign Toni in january? :sergio:
Camoranesi - economical side: 2 millions...fan side: once again wtf? he was bad at training or what? why the hell he was sold?
The way we are released these 2 legends it's a fuckin disgrace :sergio:
Diego - 15.5 Millions, it was normal price. I've always been sceptical about his transfer because brazilians can't play well in Juventus (Emerson is not count), anyway he deserved 2nd chance i guess but he was not wanted by Del Neri...

The normal

Arrivals:
15 Millions - Krasic, was pretty decent for his very first season in Serie A except his diving skills :sergio: not wanted by Conte, i hope we could sell him for 10-11 millions
15.5 Millions - Bonucci, probably we've overpaid for him and his 1st season was not good enough, but he is growing up well, in the final part of his 2nd season with us he was beast alongside with Barzagli e Chiellini
4.5 Millions - Storari, best 2nd choice GK in Serie A, good deal
18 Millions - Matri, i don't know what to say, sometimes he is beast, sometimes he is invisibleman....anyway he was good in the 1st part of scudetto season
15 Millions - Quag, was very unlucky with ugly injury, we'll see his best in the next season i guess

Departures:
Poulsen, Cannavaro, Grygera, Salihamidzic, Toni

The good

Arrivals:
Pirlo for free :delpiero:
13 Millions - Vidal , beast, nothing to say
10 Millions - :pepedinho:  from nothing to something :touched:
9 Millions - Lichsteiner, finally, first good fullback
500 + 8 Millions - Caceres, finally, second good fullback, this guy was born to play in Juve
15 Millions - Vucinic aka scudetto goal :eek:nemanarmy: but he is annoying time after time :sergio:
3 Millions for 50% - Giaccherini , what an amazing story , from serie c2 or d to Juventus, to Scudetto and to squadra azzurra team on Euro championship, this guy deserves a movie based on his life story, definitely we will buy other 50% of his contract
300k - Barzagli, uno di noi, what a move by Marotta

Departures:
Molinaro, TIAGO, Amauri, Motta

Estigarribia, Aquilani :santa:

Huge opportunity for Beppe to prove naysayers like myself wrong. Champions of Italy, in the Champions league, a Del Piero void. Everything is in place for him to succeed or come across looking like a man who will get quality. The summer of redemption or the summer to be sacked.

I think its safe to say that he proved us naysayers wrong by winning the scudetto.
