That's okay, as long as Gotze and or Hummels is coming next year. :klin:

'No big name players' doesn't mean that he won't sign someone good in January.
Anyway Marotta's use of the term 'big name players' is a little loose at times, I won't hang on it.

I don't want new players, at least no offensive ones. All I want is to see more central midfielders because honestly I'm really worried that this team will fall apart if one of Marchisio, Vidal or Pirlo doesn't play.

Juventus have cooled speculation that Milos Krasic will be leaving the Old Lady during the January transfer market.

The player’s representative this week suggested that the Serbian would be looking for a switch should he continue to be left out of the side.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta, however, has insisted that there are no issues to resolve with the winger.

“There are no problems with Krasic,” Marotta noted. “I still haven’t spoken to his agent, but the player hasn’t asked us to leave.

“Krasic is not playing at the moment simply because there are other players who are more in form.”

After being quizzed on the Krasic issue, the transfer guru was asked to comment on rumours linking Juve with Riccardo Montolivo of Fiorentina.

“I don’t want to get into specifics,” the former Sampdoria official continued. “But no big name players will come in.

“Boss Antonio Conte has done well to adapt, now we’ll look at what we need to improve.”

Finally talking like a wise general manager. There's no need to raise fans' expectations (nor to get a big name - attacker - in January, for that matter).

January signings are always overpriced, it's not the time to go for 'world class players', so I don't expect anyone like that. Maybe a good left back and central defender, but none of these fantasy names.
