All I know about Tremoulinas is that Byrone loves him :p

Other than that I think Cissokho should be our main target, I haven't seen Ansaldi either. It's a big concern that knowing our fullbacks were crap last year, we didn't do anything about the LB position. We have been terrorized on the leftside this year.
Tremoulinas is really great at going forward. Has good vision for a LB & provides good assists which would be hugely beneficial to the team if we stick with the 4-3-3 formation. He can actually cross & is good at it too. Defensively he's not great but decent but with a three man midfield it wouldn't be an issue. If we play 4-4-2 formation, we could play Pepe on the left allowing Trem to surge forward.

He'd be a solid buy and a cost effective one also.

I know that some here don't like Moggi for whatever reason, but seriously comparing Moggi to Marotta is a joke !!

Discovering Zidane alone is huge, not to mention Zambrotta, Camoranesi and re-discovering Cannavaro and Davids and the list goes on and on. He wasn't perfect (no one is) but he was hands down the best in the business.

Marotta on the other hand, is probably average. Wasted 13 mil on a 27 year old martinez who was a no-body and stayed that way. 15 mil on an average defender like Bonucci and selling one if Italy's top talents half for just 3 mil yet signing Motta for 5 millions !

He did a "decent" job this summer in signing Vidal and Pirlo for free but again we still not even past half this season we can't really judge his signings yet. Amauri looked like a great striker in the first half season when we signed him, same with Krasic and look at them now !

Moggi didn't 'discover' Zidane until he joined Juventus for two years. Marotta has signed good prospects of Appelt(s) and Sorensen, and we still haven't seen how they'll turn out.

What Marotta did last season is disastrous but his key signings for this season is one of the reasons Juve is on the top right now, I wouldn't dare to call it decent, it's a very good work. He can opt for less priced RB on Beck but he didn't; he can buy Aguero if he's willing to splash more money but he didin't; he can bow to those bastards at Udinese's will to price up Inler but he didn't; he bought Vidal, Licht, Pirlo, and Vucinic instead which have proved to be immense.

We still haven't seen what become of Krasic yet but what he did in his first half of season was sort of phenomenal, far better than Amauri.

My point is it's still a little early to judge Marotta, even comparing him to Moggi but nevertheless he did a good job on the previous transfer window and I'll give him credit for that.

Even if we win the Scudetto many here will still have something against Marotta.

I'm 50/50 with him. Like others have said, he's made some disastrous signings (Martinez and Motta in particular) but made some really good ones too (Vidal, Pirlo, Licht). One thing is for sure he is 10000000000000000 times better than that pile of shit Alessio Secco. Remember the days of Andrade, Almiron, Poulsen, Paolucci etc :sergio:

He hasn't done anything wrong this season. Amauri not leaving is not his fault. Probably could have signed a LB but we'll see in Jan.

His biggest mistake was always Del Neri. Martinez for 12M, pfff. You can find bigger flops on almost every team. If that is your biggest mistake of a transfer then you are laughing.

 Yeah Ibra-Eto'o deal is probably the worst of all time. Secco's flops were worse than Marotta's. I don't know why he signed Rinaudo though. That was so strange. I think he played like 1 game in total as a sub.

Rinaudo was so pointless and irrelevant he's barely worth mentioning. As Pepe is finding form the list of bad buys goes down. Martinez is the biggie, he looks like dog meat.

Motta is a turd but the mistake was made with him last summer. I don't have a problem with the Giovinco deal as such, maybe €1m out on the then price.

Ansaldi would be better because he can play RB as well. Cissokho is probably better than Tremoulinas too.
I haven't seen much of Ansaldi to make a judgement but i the feeling that a lot of people are praising him & hardly having watched him. Cissokho is way more defensively sound than Tremoulinas for sure.

He'd be a solid buy and a cost effective one also.
:agree:
