Good:
Pirlo
Lichtsteiner
Barzagli
Matri
Quagliarella (Not Marotta's fault he got injured)
Vidal
Storari
Pepe (based on recent form)
Vucinic

Average/Ok:
Bonucci (Improving)
Krasic (Bad form for a year)
Elia (Unknown really)
Giaccherini (Pepe like)
Estigarribia (Solid but unspectacular)
Toni
Sorensen (? He's still young, might turn out very good or average)
Aquilani
Pazienza (Solid backup)
Ziegler (Got him for free so will probably sell him for profit - good business)

Shit:
Martinez (What was he thinking?)
Motta (Goat fetish?)
Traore (Bad transfer but was free loan)
Rinaudo (^)

Even if we win the Scudetto many here will still have something against Marotta.

I'm 50/50 with him. Like others have said, he's made some disastrous signings (Martinez and Motta in particular) but made some really good ones too (Vidal, Pirlo, Licht). One thing is for sure he is 10000000000000000 times better than that pile of shit Alessio Secco. Remember the days of Andrade, Almiron, Poulsen, Paolucci etc :sergio:
Secco was a piece of art. I mean, how do you manage to sign the 6 worst players in Juventus' HISTORY? That's quite an amazing feat. Because you know, Tiago, Poulsen, Amauri, Andrade, Diego and Melo. We never had worse value for the money. We may have had worse players, but I think one also must take into consideration how much they cost. So even though players such as Gladstone, Knezevic, Blasi and Rush were pretty fucking bad, to me, the worst transfers were the ones made by Secco.

No GM is perfect and neither is Marotta, but Secco was an absolute disgrace.

Diego wasn't that bad. Melo was worse that season and even he improved. Diego should have been given another chance. Also, I think he shouldn't have gotten rid of Trez.

We would have done better with:

Storari/Buffon
Sorensen-Barza-Bonucci-Chiellini
Krasic-Aqui-Melo-Marchisio
Diego/DP
Trez/Quag

Nobody has a crystal ball unfortunately.

And yet many people here were still convinced that Marotta was worse than Secco. I'll never forget the Secco years, overpaying for EVERY SINGLE transfer and for the most part signing shit or average players who didn't fit into our system at all.

I'm just happy it finally seems we have turned a page in that awful moment of our clubs history.

@interdestroyer: Sørensen instead of Licht? :wth:

Anyway, of the 6 players I mentioned, Diego was the best, but in terms of how much we payed and what he actually delivered, he must go down as a complete failure of a signing.

He was talking about last season, notice there is no Vidal, Pirlo, Elia....not even Matri was there.

I expected big things from Andrade, Diego & Tiago, considering their past performances & reputation. Had Secco not over paid for Melo, he would never have been labeled a flop. One thing is just can't understand is how our then medical team couldn't pick up anything on Andrade's condition. The guy must have slipped a few 100 euros here & there.

All bad signings. Bonucci, Elia and Krasic were overpaid for Aquilani was absolute dog shit for us last season.

The "signing" of Aquilani in itself wasn't bad. Marotta managed to loan a player that Liverpool payed 20 million pounds for. In the end he didn't opt to sign him. Aquilani did play like shit, he sure did, but a lot of players did, and I think a lot of it boiled down to Delneri being a shit coach. Had Marotta splashed the cash for Aqui (10-13 million), then I would've been in agreement with you. That would've been a bad signing. But Marotta knew better, and shipped the fucker home.

The verdict is still out on Elia. He still has time to prove his worth.

As for Bonucci, I agree with Interdestroyer that Bonucci is an "average/ok" signing. The same with Krasic, I suppose.

How can you call Elia a bad signing? He hasn't even played! And he hasn't even played because we are undefeated and first place with the other players Marotta bought.

Juventus have cooled speculation that Milos Krasic will be leaving the Old Lady during the January transfer market.

The player’s representative this week suggested that the Serbian would be looking for a switch should he continue to be left out of the side.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta, however, has insisted that there are no issues to resolve with the winger.

“There are no problems with Krasic,” Marotta noted. “I still haven’t spoken to his agent, but the player hasn’t asked us to leave.

“Krasic is not playing at the moment simply because there are other players who are more in form.”

After being quizzed on the Krasic issue, the transfer guru was asked to comment on rumours linking Juve with Riccardo Montolivo of Fiorentina.

“I don’t want to get into specifics,” the former Sampdoria official continued. “But no big name players will come in.

“Boss Antonio Conte has done well to adapt, now we’ll look at what we need to improve.”
