Sorensen costs €0.13m and has wages of €0.016m. Piazon would effectively have 60 times his salary.

Those sort of figures are no gamble to Juventus, it's chump change we can throw away, just as €10m is to Chelsea.
6m over a 3 year period isn't that bad either. A gamble is a gamble JJ. Would you rather a 22m Amauri or 6m Piazon?

25m Diego?

12m Martinez?

Reactions when we got an 18 year old Sorensen last summer...just saying...seems to have worked out well for us so far. All it takes is a fucking gamble.
Sorensen,as has been stated gets paid a hel of a lot less than Paizon would have been demanding

and there is absolutely no way of knowing whether ANY young player is worth a gamble, never mind on wages that most Serie A clubs don't hand out to first team regulars

:sergio: Rinse and repeat what I said to Dusan already. If you can predict the future please send your application to Juventus in the summer. But first, have a look at the first few pages of the aforementioned player's threads and then you'll know why hindsight in this instance is absolutely irrelevant. Those players at least had something to shows, good performance and years of football. Piazon has nothing but talent and a great agent.

If he goes on to be a Ballon D'Or winner does it mean Marotta has failed? If he turns into the next Jermaine Pennant does that mean he did well? If you want to turn into Udinese and take chances on random kids you do it en masse and for peanuts, not fricking €1m a year salaries.

And what did Sorensen have to show prior to coming here? Certainly no youtube vids...

I dont blame marotta for not signing paizon for THAT salary, but i do blame the bald fanny because m sure he did not try hard enough or did not have the talent to make the deal happen for less or earlier

You didn't Boz, but other members did mention that so I'm pointing out.

Makes the Pirlo case shit and people stubborn. Everyone is excited with "ooooh, free Pirlo". Free Pirlo my ass, fuck that. He'd take many millions from our bank.

But all of the sudden after that Pizon's price was high.
This is the problem with Marotta.. They would prefer an old player without any possibility of development.. but the choice is between he can regain his past great form or he decreased.. and pass on an young talented player who the choice is between the player can be WC, good, average, or flop.. While the price of the old player is more expensive..

It's like choose to buy stocks without any possibility of the price will be higher
