What's a Marotta apologist?
There are those who whole-heartedly support Marotta’s “accomplishments” for this club. They live by the notion that he has done the best thing possible in every situation and has actually improved this club since his arrival.

Marotta apologists are those who know that he has not done a very good job and has not made the wisest of decisions for the betterment of the club but never the less they defend him for a number of reasons such as:

- Hes’s better than Secco any day of the week
- He’s Italian and building a supreme Italian club with Italian players who only have the thickest the most virgin of olive oil in and marinara sauce from the sweetest tomato vines running through their veins.

- He’s building for the future – a future that you and I cannot seem to comprehend since he is signing old and injury-plagued players.

- His hands are tied with the club’s financial situation, so he’s done the best he can with what little he has.

The list goes on but those are the 2 types of pro-Marotta stances

I can't see how anyone could possibly say he has done the best thing in every situation.

Ok the funny attempt with old jokes.

You need a third category; Those who appreciate what Marotta has done and are prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt despite some reservations to how he has acted on the transfer market. You could call this category 'the balanced people' category. It's not as much fun as black or white, but I prefer it

I think we’re splitting hairs by creating a 3rd group

I whole-heartedly hate marotta but i agree with these two points.
But the buy option in all his loan deals are very expensive and he is not really sure about talent.

lets not compare him to Secco.....Marotta is a joke, but Secco, well, I cant even come up with what we should call him

speaking of calls, when the hell is Andrea gonna get a hold of Moggi, and bring him back on board ??

soon enough, Moggi will be VINDICATED !!!!:flag1:

I 'm not particularly in favor nor against Marotta.. but I don't see how Marotta should get the praise for signing Krasic.. he rejected all the moves out there and insisted that he wanted to join Juve. We were going to sign him in any case even if Secco was still here..

For 25mil or not.. all I'm saying is Krasic played a huge part on that deal, it wasn't all due to Marotta's skill to sign the guy..
stop making it sound like Krasic was on the verge of joining Madrid and marotta snatched him up on a last minute bid.

Yeah, the Krasic signing was an easy one. I think the Aquilani transfer is impressive, managing to get a young player with that reputation on a year loan with a good price to sign him for at the end of the season was a great move by Marotta.

The club is more important than one person, if you ask me.
