So you think that this is a trait that only Italian fans and more specifically Italian juventini exhibit?

That is one of the most obnoxious, self-indulged, dumb post I’ve ever read on this forum. But then again it might be an Italian juventini thing.
You mean everyone wasn't wearing Chelsea jerseys before Abramovich started showering rubles out of his rectum? :analcanon:

Marotta does deserve some criticism on some of his moves. I never understood the Marco Motta move, even if it was a relatively cheap one. I do like the majority of his moves though, to be perfectly honest.

Krasic, Quag, Aquilani, Storari, Sorensen, Bonucci, Pepe (Actually quite surprised at this one) martinez (I liked the move when they did it, and I still like it now. He should be playing up front to show his true worth)

Traore, didn't like that move, especially with no option to buy.

Don't care about Diego.

Giovinco is up for debate as I still don't know where exactly they would play him.

Camo, the sooner he was gone, the better.

Trez, well, everyone can believe what they want to believe, but I still am of the assertion that they did what Trez wanted them to do, especially considering that his wife is from there.

Rinaudo, I never understood that one, and still don't understand it now. He was never that good to begin with.

Toni, well, I don't know what to say about this one. I haven't liked him for 4 years now, but when you get something for free, sometimes you get what you pay for.

The one move I really didn't like, and I'm not sure that I can blame him, is Del Neri. But, in the end, I don't think he is the one with the final decisions on the coach.

I was hoping that they would do something to shore up the RB position in January. People are going to laugh, but before DeCeglie got hurt, he was starting to come around, and his crosses were actually starting to connect with the forwards, instead of the poor 8 year old girl in the 5th row.

All this talk about yet another striker, with the money being thrown around for Fabiano, is a bit of overkill for this position. I would rather see them spend half that amount and swoop in on Rito Ziegler.

Granted, he's not the second coming of Gianluca Zambrotta right now, but he's still fairly young, and at least he's got 3 years of first team football under his belt.

Certainly better than what they have right now. Sorenson is going to develop into a very good player, but I am concerned with conducting an experiment with an 18 year old CB in that position considering that making the Champions League needs to be their primary objective.

I agree with these in particular although I admit that I thought Motta was a good signing (in comparison to what we had/have) and would suit Delneri's team having seen what he did with Samp, he'd obviously made mistakes with Roma but I didn't expect him to be so terrible in terms of awareness.

De Ceglie will be fine if he can return from injury to the level he was and get better, it wouldn't surprise me if Delneri keeps playing Marchisio on the left even into next season (assuming he is here) and that could be a make or break part of the team. In theory if we had an experienced right back who could defend the right would be fine, because Krasic is only great going forward.

But judging by your own post, Serge, it makes more sense to focus on an RB instead of the LB slot. I don't think Traore has done poorly but not having a buy option on him screwed up.

Well, I had a fucking brain cramp. For some reason I thought that Ziegler was palying RB.

Very funny indeed Badass; perhaps you should consider an alternative career in comedy!

Most of you, as always, offer no constructive criticism and are just enjoying being bashful. Petulant and childish; I expected nothing more. However, I would like to thank people like Alen, Dru, Azzurri, and Andy who at least exhibit some semblance of maturity and objectivity when discussing our current plight.

When Lippi joined us back in 94, he wasn't anywhere near as old as Del Neri is now. Del Neri is approaching 60, and his football philosophy is unlikely to change. He has never demonstrated any outstanding abilities as a tactician, is extremely inflexible in the formation he chooses to deploy, and as of yet, has to win anything significant at the age of 57! I doubt any of the aforementioned factors are bound to change anytime soon.

As for Marotta, I don't understand why some of you were singing his praises when we brought him on board. He is constantly looking for quick fix and cheap solutions, opting for Italian talent (even when it doesn't exist), and hasn't really addressed any of the weaknesses in the team! What is the point in having scouts posted across the globe, when 80% of his focus is on the talent dry Italian market?!

In any case, I might be proven wrong as regards both Del Neri and Marotta, but I doubt we will win anything notable during their tenure here. We shall continue to cast an envying glance at the likes of Milan, Inter, and even Napoli and Palermo, as they continue to play better, more attractive and efficient football, and snap the Neymars and Piazons of this world. We, in the meantime, shall have to content ourselves with more flower of the flowers and Toni type players.
hey im only speaking the truth here, you yourself said you were threatening to support another team, not me, and i really don't see how the age of a manager relates to their success. If any 'Juve fan' i put that in light terms think that it is our divine right to be perfect and successful in every sense, then clearly it shows how long some have actually 'supported' this club. I hate the mess within as much as any other true fan, but seriously if people are going to make wild remarks as to where their loyalties lie, then quite frankly i can't take them seriously. Oh man i miss that M_eylann or whatever he was called. :touched:

As for Del Neri i really dont see any sense to criticise him at all, considering what he's had to work with and the number of changes made to the side of last season, he can certainly be credited for installing a new sense of pride and fighting spirit which we clearly lacked last season to the side, i somehow doubt that the likes of pellegrini and rijkaard who many here wanted to take over last summer would have matched.

Seriously Jay I'm not going to bother with clowns like Bianconero81 anymore, they are absolutely fucking clueless. Ashamed to have guys like that following the same team as me.
I was supporting this team when you were still in diapers chump! If anything, you are the clueless and delusional individual here. I am ashamed that Juventus have become a laughing stock, a safe haven for mediocrity, and a stable for other team's excess waste. It is because I love this team that I feel this way.

I will attest to the fact that I love the way our midfield (the majority of it, for the most part) looks at present, particularly the options we have in CM and the presence of Krasic on the RW. I would also like to add that with Chiellini and Bonucci marshaling our backline, and with Buffon, the world's greatest net minder protecting the defense, we don't necessarily need to worry about the GK and CB positions for now (I am sure Bonucci will only get better). However, when deploying a 4-4-2 formation, it is common knowledge that the fullbacks and wingers are of utmost importance. We only have Krasic as a reliable option. The fullbacks are an utter disgrace (befitting of a team attempting to avoid relegation at best), and Marchisio is not a natural winger. Moreover, Pepe is solid and reliable, but unspectacular. If anything, he should be a backup LW, with a true winger filling the slot @ LW (not Marchisio). As for our strike force, Toni, Amauri, and Iaquinta should all be plying their trade elsewhere, with DP and Quag obviously being our only reliable forwards.
