Attention, fact: Life was funny when we were all 12 living in the suburbs listening to linkin park watching dragonball z drinking pepsi while playing halo co-op on the easiest setting during which we consumed doritos and looked at paintball guns on ebay in internet explorer connected through aol on a 56k modem before hopping into our balding fathers' latest midlife-crisis-impulse-sponsored japanese-built suv to head to the mall and get more skateboarding shoes and third-rate irregular levis and mountain bike parts before heading home, voting democrat and masturbating to the latest sears catalog while huffing paint in your garage before talking to pedophiles on aim pretending to be whatever camwhore they're ranting about on myspace with a matrix quote/anime character name/triple six-asterisk-parentheses-surrounded screenname before heading to your supposed "good school" in the morning to buy more pot to smoke during your counter-strike lan party with jimmy and the rest of his friends taking ritalin and adderall and prozac eight times a day before taking a casual pass at local, state or national governmential figures, legislature, or structure to appear edgy and intelligent in front of your budweiser-sneaking, limp-wristed, near-to-columbine sociopathic "deep" friends who play the victim when they start losing arguements six days before their botched suicide attempt simply because school tramp number twelve wouldn't go under the bleachers with them to let them get to second base before their thirteenth birthday.

Wow, why does that describe my teenage years so accurately?

Why be fair to those people? They're the same ones who said we were never going to do well in Europe after the Olympiacos game. They're the same ones who lambasted Pirlo all season and now think he's a major loss. They're the same ones who lambaste any player of ours mercilessly whenever they drop into even the smallest run of poor form. They're the same ones who said we might not even make the CL places after Conte left. They're the same ones who lambasted Conte previous to that for being a European pussy and too stubborn to learn. They're the same one's who freak out every mercato about us not getting a "world class" player.

We've won 4 straight scudetti. We just played in a CL final. We won Serie A by 17 points each of the last 2 years. And now these people are suggesting we're "back to the bottom" again, back to Del Neri-Ferrara years, we'll be lucky to finish in CL places, we won't make it out of group stage, Marotta is a bumbling fool, and so on.

They don't deserve fair.

I think that we know that, because at this point the new signing would be already done, just like Vidal was. Vidal is only pending the medicals.

It's pretty sure that he was sold without a replacement.

Look how different Marotta did with Khedira, for example. Signed the guy before Pirlo announced he would leave. Perfect.

Dybala. Signed him before Tevez decided to leave. Perfect.

Mandzukic. Signed him while Llorente is still with us, but is about to leave. Perfect.

He was working on antecipation and that's why everybody complemented his work. It was outstanding.

But now it's safe to say Vidal is already sold and we still don't have a suitable replacement. And honestly in my book Draxler doesn't seem adequate enough. Too much of a gamble when you lose a rock solid certainty from your team.
I believe khedira was brought in as Vidals replacament, therefore the sale of Vidal was planned all along. I also believe this is the best offer we could get for him in todays market for central mudfielders.

No, Khedira is Pirlo's replacement.
He's more a b2b midfielder than a regista how can he be his replacement? Just because he's a midfielder?

And we already have marchisio as a replacement for Pirlo's role, so that makes khedira marchisio's replacement? Not likely. ;)

I believe that we were prepared to sell either Pogba or Vidal in this transfer market. The sale of Vidal shows us that we would rather hold on Pogba and build the team around him. Maybe this will convince him to stay even beyond the season of 2015/16.
